The music of EMATA owes its uncommon level of emotional depth to his unique approach as a producer. The self-taught child prodigy pianist’s expert grasp of melody has manifested in groundbreaking trance releases that have placed him on the radar of many of the genre’s tastemakers.
 
Throughout the years, Denver, Colorado based EMATA has had his music released on a multitude of trance and progressive labels including Future Sound of Egypt and Elliptical Sun, and received support from a plethora of top-tier DJs including Cosmic Gate and Above & Beyond, the latter of which has featured him multiple times on their famed radio show Group Therapy. In addition, EMATA has had the pleasure of DJing at multiple major festivals including Decadence, Global Dance Festival and Skylab, while also playing clubs such as Beta, The Church Nightclub and Chicago’s musically and stylistically renowned Sound-Bar.
 
EMATA’s natural ear for chord progression suits him well as a purveyor of trance music. Subtleties in each of his arrangements translate to a greater conceptual depth, equipping him to communicate the sort of raw emotion that has practically become synonymous with the genre.
