A year on from making his Cheeky Tracks debut with his first releases as a hard house producer, Danny Gibson has appeared on other respected labels in the scene such as Shock Records and Hi Five Digital. Now he brings us his third EP on Cheeky, covering all sides of his style of hard house. As usual, all three tracks have been supported by Ryan Walker, Ben Vennard and more, and should see him gain even wider recognition in 2022!

Started in 2000 playing Scouse/Bouncy House (UK Bounce), NRG, Poky, Spanish Bounce, Bumping, Acid House, Pumping House, Hard Dance, Hard House, Hard Trance, Hardstyle, Makina, Hardcore. I’ve played at many clubs/events & radio stations around New Zealand, Australia & the UK over the years, as well as running my own events

Like most DJs what first brought my attention to the world of mixing was my passion for Dance & House music as it was something I fell in love with from a young age

I moved to New Zealand in 2006. I decided to promote the Wigan Pier name & the Bounce scene over here as it was something I felt wasn't that popular but had great potential, so using my years of knowledge gained from being involved with the scene for so long & my connections, I began holding my own Bounce & Hard Dance nights & launched ‘Wigan Pier Around The World’ holding events in various clubs around New Zealand & Australia.

In 2012 these events sadly came to an end due to the forced closure of the famous Wigan Pier Nightclub (UK) so we decided that the overseas events would cease in order to maintain focus on the newly created UK touring events BTID (Bounce Till I Die) so I launched a new event ''Ravers Unite'' to take its place. introducing more 4x4 genres into these events instead of just Bounce as it was with the WP events, Other genres like hardcore, Trance, Makina, Electro, etc also have a huge part in these events.

In 2012 I also started working as a resident DJ for ''Amped NZ''
