Mina Mills is a Chicago based DJ and producer from Des Moines, Iowa. She plays techno and house music.

Description of mix: This mix was recorded using two Audio-Technica AT-LP120 direct drive turntables, one deck of a Numark Mixdeck Express and a Xone 62 mixer. This is the DJ equipment that I have access to and I've grown to really love it.

DJ Lycra has been a fixture in Chicago's underground for more than a decade. Molded by hundreds of nights out and an untold number of sunrise sets, he is well regarded by heads and dancers alike.  DJ Lycra has held the booth at countless warehouse functions and clubs in Chicago and across the Midwest.

For this mix I eschewed my typical breaks-heavy, anything goes approach in favor of more unfurling, hypnotic grooves across the techno spectrum. The joyful spiral into the void.

With well received releases including his debut vinyl release on Fixed Rhythms, in addition to various digital EP’s on PPRZ and Modelfuture, DJ Hockey is propelling his signature brand of warp speed techno with his productions and is working on more for 2025. 

DJ Hockey started PPRZ records, mix series and with Adam 2 in addition to curating events with the intention to showcase techno from the PNW and beyond.
