Shir Khan &amp; Exploited dip their toes into the world of disco edits with the launch of new label Black Jukebox which sees contributions from label regulars Homework as well as introducing the Hamburg axis Doctor Dru &amp; Adana Twins into the fold. Doctor Dru&amp;Adana Twins lead the way with their slo-mo housed-up boogie-soul joint "Juicy Fruit". Alongside it "Supreme" dips into housier territory with the primitive scratching and rising piano lines giving proceedings an 80s sensation soaked with twilight niceties. Both tracks are presented it in a nicely recut fashion reminiscent of the great Tiger &amp; Woods. On the flip Homework transforming "Lenny" into a glistening disco house number whilst "Love Ray" is perhaps the most straight up excursion into main room filtered disco house territory.

Et pourtant, vous voyez, ça fait maintenant presque de 6 mois que je dors à peine
Que je peux ne rien bouffer pendant deux jours, sans même m’en apercevoir
Et quand je me regarde dans le miroir, je vois un mec bizarre, pâle, translucide, tellement livide...

J’en ai assez de me taper à déjeuner des salades composées à 12 euros

De manger sur un coin de table
Puis de passer des après-midis minables à enculer les mouches 
Et finir par embrayer sur des “afterworks” entre collègues

À croire qu’on aime tellement se faire enfler la journée

Heureusement, nos journées se finissent toujours de la même façon 
On rentre et on se fait beau pour la soirée
On met nos polos, col relevé 
Puis on se retrouve au “QG” 
Pour picoler des demis à 5 euros

D’ailleurs, quand on a un peu de plomb dans l’aile
On a souvent envie de jouer aux rebelles

On le ferait, si on avait un peu de cran dans nos artères
Mais on préfère se taire

À user notre salive pour pas grand-chose 
Et à fumer comme des sapeurs

D’agrandir les valoches qu’on a déjà sous les yeux

À part ça, on parle surtout des filles qu’on a vues sur le Net
Et puis de celles qu’on aimerait attraper en soirée

As soon as we realized that what the duo ADANA TWINS is doing is so JEUDI soundish, the label was born, without being pregnant. 

"Heliumcowboy" is a driving, minimalistic house tune with a straight hand for the beat. Plus: there has never been a track about a cuban cowboy! Shir Khan &amp; Exploited dip their toes into the world of disco edits with the launch of new label Black Jukebox which sees contributions from label regulars Homework as well as introducing the Hamburg axis Doctor Dru &amp; Adana Twins into the fold. Doctor Dru&amp;Adana Twins lead the way with their slo-mo housed-up boogie-soul joint "Juicy Fruit". Alongside it "Supreme" dips into housier territory with the primitive scratching and rising piano lines giving proceedings an 80s sensation soaked with twilight niceties. Both tracks are presented it in a nicely recut fashion reminiscent of the great Tiger &amp; Woods. On the flip Homework transforming "Lenny" into a glistening disco house number whilst "Love Ray" is perhaps the most straight up excursion into main room filtered disco house territory.
