Italian born Antonio Russo, AKA Adapter unveils his ‘Synthetic EP’; an electrifying three track release marking his second EP on Get Physical Music since last summers ‘Dangerous Girl EP’ turned heads on the dancefloor. The title leads one to believe it would consist of synthetic vibes and atmospheres; and you wouldn’t be wrong! Under the organic percussion lies a climbing lead that drifts up and down in beautiful contrast with the aforementioned natural smoothness of the percussions in the first cut ‘Pyramid’. The title track sits right in the middle on this release and leans a bit more toward peak-time dancefloor. Again, Adapter highlights the contrasting vibes of the warm, organic percussion with cold, hard synth-work. ‘Neverland’ finishes off the EP with its dark and airy atmosphere guided by simple and effective percussive lines.

For us, it feels like yesterday, but it was nearly a decade ago that Dakar dropped the summer anthem, ‘I’ve Got That Feeling’ on Get Physical Music. Back in summer of ’08, the original took floors by storm and proved its potential, now we ready for another round with four new perspectives. All the usual suspects are on board, Siopis, Adapter, Dance Spirit and Dakar’s own ‘2017 Edit’. Siopis takes on the track first, delivering a delightful tech house shuffle while utilizing the vocals in a straightforward fashion. Dance Spirit first build a landscape of organic percussion as the music slowly follows .The duo here take a rather reserved approach, opting for vocal accents and an airy ambience. On the other side of the spectrum, Adapter, whose remix gives the track a healthy dose of energy. By combining a floor stomping kick, pushing the tempo up, and giving a gritty ambience, Adapter has given the track a completely new meaning – turning the track into a heavy, peak-time floor-mover. Last but not least, if Dakar’s own 2017 edit. He’s given the track more depth and strengthened the bubbly groove, lending the track a fresh breath of life for another decade of sunshine and smiles.

★ Music enters in the life of Adapter since it's very youth, when he started to learn how to play classical guitar and piano discovering rules and secrets of these instruments. Is love for electronic music was born later around 2001, when the young Antonio Russo started to play in local clubs developing his experience in front of a proper crowd. In these years he improved his skills and knowledge and finally decide that it was time to produce his own works in studio. In 2010 all the efforts gave to Adapter the chance to produce instant classic tracks ready to be played by artists as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and Loco Dice, released on labels as Viva Music, Get Physical, Octopus and Materialism.

The young boy that started his path in the world of club culture many years before finally gain a solid international reputation and create his own party "Dirtyclub" in Naples. The projects grow and reach Ibiza allowing Adapter to play as regular guest at Sankeys. In all these years Adapter shared the decks with guests like Adam Beyer, Matthias Tanzmann, Gary Beck, Marco Faraone, Oscar Aguilera and Daniel Sanchez to name few of them. Spain, England, Croatia, Germany and Austria are just few of the countries in which he performed. The costant international rising of Adapter seems to be not finished yet and the only question left is: "What's Next?"
