Sunrise & Biology enveloped London's airwaves. From there I developed my love for Electronic Music. Organic House, Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House, with a bit of Techno and Ambient thrown in.

What and who is A Darker Wave?
We are a duo (jacki-e & p-mac) who present A Darker Wave every week only on NLive Radio, Circl8 Radio, Echo Radio & Chill Lover Radio. We put the show together in our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Hearthis.at, Podbean and You Tube pages once it has been streamed and presents the best in new techno releases.
We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany and all over the UK.
The music we play is techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to include in the show.
Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases.
In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix.

Why are you called A Darker Wave?
Dark Wave was first used in the 1980s to describe a dark and melancholy variant of new wave and post-punk music and was first applied to UK musicians such as Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode and Anne Clark. It was also used to describe artists who combined music with performance art, such as Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, who challenged and explored the darker and obsessive sides of the human condition.

A lot of techno takes its spirit and ethos from this music, Listen to Throbbing Gristle or Cabaret Voltaire and you can hear the industrial sounds which are a staple of techno music today.

Techno is the outsider of electronic dance music, the punk of today's modern music scene. As Dave Clarke said in an interview with Mixmag, " Techno is edgy. Techno will challenge you......it's the real dark art."

Our radio show, in presenting the best in underground techno and deep house music, and in giving an opportunity for new, up and coming DJ's and producers, is providing an outlet for new techno, which is best described as being the new wave of modern dance music.

Not just a new wave, but with it's incessant bass rumblings, synthesiser drones, pounding drums, melodic top notes and eerie, distorted vocal samples, techno, in all its forms, is a backdrop to and a critique of our post-industrial, consumerist society, one in which our actions are observed 24/7, our democratic freedoms are threatened by our very own governments and our rights to do, think and act as we please are under ever increasing scrutiny. Techno really is A Darker Wave.

When we were listening to music in the 60’s and 70’s, before the electronic tentacles of technology infiltrated the world, we often thought, whilst listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Hawkwind, Captain Beefhart, New York Dolls and Roxy Music, where would music go to in the future? It could never be what was being portrayed in the science fiction movies of the time. Now we know. It can be anything. When we have a recording studio in our own home which is more powerful and versatile than anything available back then, we now know music can be anything and go anywhere. It is only the spark of our imaginations, or lack of it, that holds us back. On our laptop computers we have the capabilities that many artists back then would have given their right arms for. It’s for the uniqueness of the artist to express themselves to be able to stand out from the deluge of music available. Finding those gems is the modern day equivalent of crate digging and when you do, it makes it all worthwhile. Long live music!!!!

Twistedreload is a unique sound coming straight out of London.
Twistedreload has being making music for a number of years, Starting off on Playstation, Fruity loops, Reason and now on Logic.

Twistedreload has been influenced by a lot of artist in Reggae, Soul, House, Rave, Garage, Trance and Dub over the years. In my early years I was going up and down the M1 with Jah Tubbys (Dub Sound system). I think this is shown in my music by the basslines that I write and the vocal delays all of which I loved and still do.

Twistedreload as an original sound that is like no other and I aways start with the drum patterns which all made by me in NI's battery. The synth's I use are Serum, Spire and The Sylenth and mixture of some old synths from Native instruments. I use a number of plug-ins which are waves.

A guitarist’s background meets electronic music. 
MIR0 played in many bands before becoming the producer of his own music as a solo polyinstrumentalist  artist.

So you might be wondering who am I and where did I come from. Let me share you a brief story. My name is Offspring Mysterious, I have 4 other life forms, all of them are my family. The 5 of us combined, we're called Walking Onslaughts. We are a very talented group of many fields, music is one of them, while the others consist of graphic designs, content creator, modeling, cosplaying, story writer and teller, little bit of dancing, and comedy. With our art, you'll see our adventures we're currently exploring. One thing about us, our adventures never end. Here's another fun fact, if you take a gander in my beats descriptions, you'll see our stories about how did we became who we are today. Now I gotta dutch, I hear another avenue that hasn't been explored, take care.

As a  DJ Manjit was involved in the London club scene for two decades, starting when the underground  scene was at it’s peak. 

In 2012 he set up psytrance audio/visual act Beat Pushers and released his first EP, Piccadilly Circus.

Today Manjit is producing his own tracks and releasing them through various record labels such as BABA, Pan Music Records, Global Techno Alliance, Eternity Sounds, RevKon Records and of course through Audiobrain Productions.

Unfortunately now Manjit’s RA reached a level which meant he could no longer DJ. Unable to continue with his passion for playing music to a live audience Manjit now directs his energy into creating music in his studio. So now, through Audiobrain, Manjit releases his free downloads and EP’s and also through various other labels while he continues to battle with his pain. Despite the issues caused by his health he has  a passionate motivation for the genre of electronic music and is continuously extending his knowledge and skills in this area. He is interested in supporting others with their projects as long as they are able to keep an open mind regarding how his health can affect him day to day.

With little to no experience of making music before Summer 2020, Stopyral armed nothing more with an iPad, imagination and desire decided to experiment in creating sound textures & blending beats in a variety of interesting & unique ways. 
 
With over 140k plays on SoundCloud since January 2021 and hitting the top 20 RepostExchange Underground Charts on a consistent basis suggests this was not a bad idea after all😉
