Suchtgefahr aka Leon Satter ist ein Talentiertes Nachwuchs Talent und kommt aus dem schönen Köln.Nach fast elf jähren Erfahrung an den decks kam dann Anfang Februar 2019 der Durchbruch.

Sein Sound fing an sich in den Köpfen der Raver zu festigen.Und die Nachfrage des bislang unerkannten Künstlers stieg.Nach einem Jahr verdoppelten sich seine Follower und Sie begannen Ihn hart zu suchten.
Seit dem 10.07.2019 bekam der Junge Künstler nachwuchs im Hause Satter und so wahr sein Glück Perfekt.

Daher hört man den jungen Satter seid August 2019 nicht mehr auf jeder Party. Nach wie vor schieben SatteBässe im Vordergrund und drücken harten dreckigen Techno nach vorn.

Started playing in the 90's in Club "Lobbes" in Haarlem  the Netherlands (hiphop, house, mellow, dance, hits, happy hardcore) and had my own evening there, also played a lot of different party's and even threw a few myself (The neverending story 1 & 2, Hardcore). Used  to mix with vinyl but made the jump a few years ago to digital .
I love a lot off music an digital offers endless posibilities in finding music so that is why you can find lots of different styles on my soundcloud/mixcloud pages. At the moment i am mostly focussing on my Deep Vibes and  Techno Vibes series

In 2017 he began DJ-ing and producing techno under his own name. His music is a blend of styles from pure Techno to Melodic & Industrial. With plenty of releases on major labels including Stil vor Talent, Tronic, & Set About, he’s received active support from artists such as Wehbba, Julian Jeweil, Ramon Tapia and many others.

Ønyx on their mix for Dreamcast: "This mix is my most diverse one out. While it’s got that techno undercurrent, there’s also that blend in breaks, ghetto tech and jungle influences. I wanted to curate something with less strict bounds around myself – in other words, a full send. It’s been a while since I put out a mix, so I really wanted to put something out there that reflects my current sound and what inspires me most now."

Tell us a bit about the LA scene right now: "The LA scene feels like it’s booming and exploding with all the flavors. Whether you want to hear techno, house, electro, industrial, drum and bass, jungle, breaks, ambient, experimental, modular – there’s something for you out here. Such diverse and eclectic artists are brought from all around the world every month, not to mention there's also insanely killer local talent. An homage to the many different genres & styles that shaped my passion for underground music growing up, Feet Your Feet or Cut Them Off is a fast-paced no nonsense mix of modern, groove based techno, drawing inspiration from childhood favorites such as 'Live at the Liquid Rooms' & 'Decks EFX and a 909'.

Featuring many upcoming Irish talents, the mix was recorded using three decks, loops, acapella's & a 909 drum machine.

His passion for techno led him to start DJing in 2019 and he’s strongly influenced by hard and groovy rhythms, infectious melodies and deep, hypnotic bass. In this set he’s played at a lower bpm than usual, focusing more on grooves and deeper sounds, combined with a deep hypnotic bass.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Paddy Kearns from from Dublin in Ireland. He’s been a DJ / Producer since the 90's and has played many different styles under aliases such as Kernzy & Klemenza, Bossgroove & Padraig Ballyer. Now his focus is on Techno and he’s wasting no time serving up his own blend behind the decks and with the Dublin based Ceol Crua record label, which he runs and it’s on its 3rd release with support of artists like Leftfield, Perc, Marcel Dettmann, DAVE the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Slam & Dax J.

The guest mix in the second hour is by  Barbuto, a DJ, Producer and Label Head of Mavic Music and he’s based in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Austin, Texas he’s known for his explosive DJ sets and turntable-style trickery. He’s performed at events across North and Central America, Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Germany, and Malta. His tracks have been released on Codex, Tronic, Octopus, Unity, Set About and many others, with 19 top 100 techno chart singles. His mix consists of Mavic Music releases including all five tracks from the forthcoming VA album Impressions Vol 3, which includes my next release, ‘Rave Chant’.

What and who is A Darker Wave?
We are a duo (jacki-e & p-mac) who present A Darker Wave every week only on NLive Radio, Circl8 Radio, Echo Radio & Chill Lover Radio. We put the show together in our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Hearthis.at, Podbean and You Tube pages once it has been streamed and presents the best in new techno releases.
We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany and all over the UK.
The music we play is techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to include in the show.
Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases.
In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix.

Why are you called A Darker Wave?
Dark Wave was first used in the 1980s to describe a dark and melancholy variant of new wave and post-punk music and was first applied to UK musicians such as Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode and Anne Clark. It was also used to describe artists who combined music with performance art, such as Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, who challenged and explored the darker and obsessive sides of the human condition.

A lot of techno takes its spirit and ethos from this music, Listen to Throbbing Gristle or Cabaret Voltaire and you can hear the industrial sounds which are a staple of techno music today.

Techno is the outsider of electronic dance music, the punk of today's modern music scene. As Dave Clarke said in an interview with Mixmag, " Techno is edgy. Techno will challenge you......it's the real dark art."

Our radio show, in presenting the best in underground techno and deep house music, and in giving an opportunity for new, up and coming DJ's and producers, is providing an outlet for new techno, which is best described as being the new wave of modern dance music.

Not just a new wave, but with it's incessant bass rumblings, synthesiser drones, pounding drums, melodic top notes and eerie, distorted vocal samples, techno, in all its forms, is a backdrop to and a critique of our post-industrial, consumerist society, one in which our actions are observed 24/7, our democratic freedoms are threatened by our very own governments and our rights to do, think and act as we please are under ever increasing scrutiny. Techno really is A Darker Wave.

When we were listening to music in the 60’s and 70’s, before the electronic tentacles of technology infiltrated the world, we often thought, whilst listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Hawkwind, Captain Beefhart, New York Dolls and Roxy Music, where would music go to in the future? It could never be what was being portrayed in the science fiction movies of the time. Now we know. It can be anything. When we have a recording studio in our own home which is more powerful and versatile than anything available back then, we now know music can be anything and go anywhere. It is only the spark of our imaginations, or lack of it, that holds us back. On our laptop computers we have the capabilities that many artists back then would have given their right arms for. It’s for the uniqueness of the artist to express themselves to be able to stand out from the deluge of music available. Finding those gems is the modern day equivalent of crate digging and when you do, it makes it all worthwhile. Long live music!!!!
