I stumbled upon this classic master piece from John Tejada. From the first seconds I heard the frequencies, I knew there was deep connection. So, I decided to put my own spin on it, enjoy the edit and spring is here!!!

About the EP =>
Unless you can't see trought that door, you can ear from it : Juan's debut ep on hosted has landed ! It does not come to a surprise, his "Yakuna" ep will take you on a journey filled of percussive groove and ethnic vocals. The first track , "Yakuna", is a travel trough the south american jungle, with that juan's special marimba's touch and some groovy percussions. "Yakuna" also comes with a powerfull remix by the uprising afrohouse head : Klunsh ! The second track, "Naata", is a downtempo floor breaker : exploring the north african territory, juan's fat sub bassline and that charming vocal fits perfeclty : it will take you on a deep and spiritual journey.

Back in July, label mastermind @atish teamed up with San Francisco neighbor @BengalSF for the first time since a debut on @Kindisch. A third of the star studded “atish + friends” EP, “Tortoise” exhibited patient yet tactful intention with each serene stride. Making his production debut for the label, A&R lead @Naveen-G makes this an in-house affair. The New Yorker utilizes modularity in his remix's first and second movements, giving rise to a breakdown full of warm, soaring synths.
