In 2001 I was 13, my passion for music was exploding and watching MTV I was captivated by song with a melody so simple but so hypnotic singing "lalala-lala-lalala". 
But another thing struck me, in the video there was a woman with red lipstick, dancing in a white dress letting a glimpse of her breathtaking body. 
I was too young to have felt the warmth of a woman already, but not too young to understand that she was the sexiest woman I had ever seen, she was Kylie Minogue.
Today I still believe that "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" is one of the best pop songs of the 2000s and I wanted to pay homage to it with this elegant house version in collaboration with the Swedish duo Kaiak.

Electronic duo Dear humans release their latest single, Blinded: an emotionally-charged, melancholic anthem that blends the rich, soulful vocals of Alex Who? with the slick, deep beats of producer Corey Epstein to incredible effect. 

Landing this August, Blinded is a meticulously crafted and deeply affecting record. Sitting somewhere between deep house and neo-soul, it conveys an extraordinary depth of feeling and crackles with a restrained intensity: both haunting and invigorating in equal measure. 

Dear Humans is an electronic soul duo consisting of producer Corey Epstein and vocalist + songwriter Alex Who?. 

Originally from Colorado, Epstein has been a musician and producer for over 20 years and in March 2018 he launched NCTRNL Recorcds which has quickly established itself as one of LA’s top deep house labels.

Alex Who? Is a Dutch-Tanzanian singer and songwriter. After graduating from the Amsterdam school for performing arts she starred in various Dutch television series and films before her demo caught the attention of Craig Kallman, CEO of Atlantic records. That triggered her move to the states, getting signed by Empire Records and releasing two EPs in the past few years.

Over the coming months Dear Humans will be releasing several more singles, with an EP slated for later in the year.

Addal - Blinding Lights

After two successful free downloads on deep stories, we are happy to present the talented producer Shahin on Deep Stories Records. His EP ‘5 Years’ gives a diverse sound that lets you dream and makes you want to dance. The first track is ‘Everest’ and shows the direction of the EP - upwards. The bassline frames the melody und guides us up the first meter, until we break through the clouds with ‘Through Clouds and Dust’ and feel the sun on our skin. This track, with its quiet sound will make you stop for a while and enjoy the moment. After a short moment of quiet, the intensive claps and the sawtooth wave will guide you to the climax. The more we climb, the more our heartbeat accelerates until pure energy shoots through our body and we see a mysterious creature on the top of the hill. Those energetic feelings are picked up by the track ‘The Caveman’ and the driving bassline forms the end of this brilliant EP.

Worthy of special note, Canadian singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca delivers an extraordinary lyrical and vocal performance on "Fell Out Of Love," a deep-tinged ballad.
