Born in 66 near Paris (France), Eric Landat begins to play nylon acoustic guitar alone at the age of thirteen.
At this time, he's listening to ac/dc, Van Halen, Richard Wagner, and much more ...
Two years after, his familliy offer to him an electric copy of a Les Paul guitar with a 10 Watts amp, cause he must be carefull to not make too much noise in the appartment ;-) Then Eric took some guitar lessons. He was inspired in the early 80's by many artists from all styles. He developped a kind of intuitive play, playing guitar over the radio. Later, he begins to be interested by music with computers and synths.
We coud resume his music production and musical career as this : a lot of sounds reseach and curiosity. A few gigs and concerts.
Main groups and solo projects :
Insomnie (withefulness) Studio sessions. Full guitarless recordings (only synths and samples new age musics).A jazzy duo called "middle way" to play in pubs. A full album with the french pop metal band "black avenue". A solo instrumental project album called "spaces and times", released in 2014 on streaming plateforms, another one self produced single "Dreamy morphing" (only clean guitars with many effects and a drum beat).
From 2025, self productions with AI tools and guitars playing, making easier for him the creation process in an Heavy metal / hardrock melodic style.
