We'd never meet socially, we have nothing musical in common, we couldn't possibly have found each other on gumtree or tinder or anything like that. We'd swipe left. Something happens when we make musi c and it feels amazing. We don't care about form, or fashion or how we look, we don't really play gigs. We aren't against them, it's just that we like to spend out time making music and moving on. We love anything that we come across that sounds good, and we are driven to make powerful music that moves us. We use indian folk sounds, and we we use pro tools. Such is life.

A four-piece indie rock band originating from Birmingham, who encapsulate schoolboy-lyricism developed into post-punk revival. 

The group melds upfront tales of concern, camaraderie and companionship with catchy lead guitars, energetic drum beats and discursive verses; leading them to recently be described as the bastard lovechild of Jamie T and John Frusciante.

Soul Survivor does lots of things - we're a busy bunch! You might know of us because of our summer events, and although they are our main focus, there is other stuff we do too...

Each summer we run four events (three Soul Survivor events and one Momentum event) which last five days each and between them host around 30,000 young people. The rest of the year we keep busy with lots of other events such as retreat weekends, equipping days and Saturday celebrations (see 'other events'). Plus we run Soul Action in partnership with Tearfund to put God’s heart for justice into action.
