John Grant, the American singer-songwriter, whose debut album Queen of Denmark was named Mojo album of the year in 2010, has told 6 Music that he will be releasing the follow up this autumn.

This time Grant has travelled to Bjork territory and has unintentionally secured the services of one of Iceland’s biggest electronic exports, Gus Gus.

In 2002 Domino released James Yorkston & the Athletes' debut, Moving Up Country. 

Yorkston - who is a member of Fife's Fence Collective, that includes fellow Domino artist and Mercury nominated King Creosote was once hailed "the finest songwriter of his generation by John Peel.

Now - he will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of his debut by playing the record in full at a number of venues across the UK and a special Anniversary Edition of Moving Up Country is being released on 23rd of April through Domino - the new album will feature unreleased tracks and the 2002 single The Lang Toun…..

Fresh from performing with Groove Armada last weekend, Saint Saviour, aka Becky Jones, will release her debut album Union on Monday. Jones, who was formally with electropop outfit The RGBs before Groove Armada, has produced a stunningly diverse and confident record - some of the tracks have been getting airplay on Nemone and Lauren's shows on BBC 6 Music recently. The album is almost completely self-produced and instead of following the traditional route of signing with a label, she has funded the record by crowdsourcing through the website PledgeMusic. Now she has scored the backing of AEG Live.
