Oyster are a 4 piece band from Gloucester UK. John (ex Poke) and Steve (ex Drunk on blood) focus on the music production and Emily (Former singer in several bands) and Jefferson (finalist of Gloucester’s got Talent) share vocals and contribute to songwriting. Having been friends for many years, John and Emily share similar tastes in music and have worked on music projects in the past, but this new lineup has seen input from Emily's husband Steve and her nephew Jefferson. 

When asked to describe the music they create they state that their music is hard to fit into a particular genre although influences include; Evanescence, Linkin Park, Depeche Mode, Lacuna Coil and Nine inch Nails to name but a few!
