Hi Energy Rockabilly From Red Hot Sicily 
Is a band from Sicily which got started in 1994. In that year three young rockers, still at school, decided to put together a rockin' blues trio. 20 years later, Don Diego Geraci (guitar and voice), Fabio "Fabulous" Cinque (doublebass) and Sandro "The Voice" Pittari (drums) are still rockin' all around Europe, playing their perfect combinations of neo rockabilly and rockin' blues. They called the band "Adels" (in german it means "gentlemen", but it comes from their love for the beer). Since then they have recorded 12 albums and a live DVD, they have played on thousands of stages all around the world (200 gigs every year); they have played in the most important festivals. (Good Rockin' Tonight FR, Shut Up and Bop DE, Summer Jamboree, City Jamboree DE, Pistoia Blues, Custom Party, Rock and Roll Party, Maverick, Kustom Weekend, Dieci Giorni Suonati, Summer Vintage….and many many others… far too much to be mentioned). Their rock and roll attitude onstage is the reason why a lot of promoters choose these guys for the opening acts of very famous artists, like Brian Setzer (Rockabilly Riot tour 2011), Reverend Horton Heat (Custom Party 2013), BB King (Italian Tour 2002), Jethro Tull (Pistoia Blues 2003), Paladins (Summer Jamboree 2013), Restless (several times), Go Getters (several times), The Jets (several times), Dave Phillips and the Hot Rod Gang (several times), Space Cadets (Farewell Show). It has often happened that they have been invited on the stage by these headliners to join in for a blasting jam session (like the day Don Diego was invited by the Reverend Horton Heat to play the classic tune "Rock the Joint", or the famous jam sessions with the Restless, youtube is full of these guitar battles). The Adels are not only a "good band", they're also three professional musicians who are able to work as a backing band for many other artists; over the years they backed up people like Ray Campi, Hayden Thompson, Marvin Rainwater, Mark Harman, Mouse Zinn, Jimmie Lee Maslon, Levi Dexter, Rip Masters, Jake Allen, Clem Sacco, Andy J. Forest, Rockin' Bonnie, Dave Phillips, Chris Casello, Kick 'Em Jenny, Antonio Sorgentone, James Thompson, Herbie Goins, Acappella Swingers, Francois…and many others! Their style is a mixture of old rockabilly played with high energy, with a hard and modern groove on classic structures, all mixed with a "south taste" to remind you the place where they come from (they call their style "Pure South-a-Billy"….like the title of an old CD published in 2006); a great slap doublebass played by Fabio and a minimal amount of drums, but still hard as rock, played by Sandro, is the perfect background for Don's guitar (he is now considered one of the most important rockabilly guitarists in Europe, a virtuoso of the instrument with his own style); the music is always dominated by the leading hot voice of Don, supported by the vocal harmonies of Fabio and Sandro); these things create their very own magical sound, being able to pass from soft dynamics to hard and plasting songs. It is the reason why they are considered as the best live act-modern rockabilly band in Italy. Their show is built on self penned tracks (some of these tracks become real hits that the crowd usually sings during their shows, songs like "Da Lunedì" or "Electroshock, and "Rock and Roll Star") and some beautiful covers, re-interpretated in their own way (like their cover of the Dire Straits' classic "Walk of Like", always on air in some national radios like Virgin Radio, or their cover of the Motorhead's song "Dance", which is included in a Lemmy's tribute CD with the most important italian exponents of the rock scene, like Pino Scotto, Rezophonic, Extrema, The Fire…). Their show will leave you breathless because there are a lot of virtuosic moments. Unlike to many other bands which prefer to keep the wild side of their gigs the main attraction, Adels you can really make you dance to rock and roll, rockabilly, boogie and bop. The Adels is a real band for everyones taste. They grew up as a rockabilly band for bars and clubs, who also has what it takes to perform on big stages and mega events; passing from busking to weddings, from rockabilly festivals and rock-meetings, they played everywhere were possible. The passion for rock and roll and music has always been a profession for them. It's very hard to find another band in Italy, who has played basically everywhere and has travelled so many times with their van, always packed up with instruments and merchandise. After 20 years together they are still a cult band! Their "moto"?- „Don't mess with the ADELS!!!“
