Samara-based producer d. towärds self-releases his ninth album named ‘System 1‘ delivering 4-tracks of igneous dark ambient, experimental textures and sinister drone...The second track ‘hydra unt' has a particularly intriguing sound design climax, thanks to its bubbling echoes invoking the arcane of the underworld, surrounded by an arsenal of drone-infused bass oscillations that set the tone for a swirling hurricane of glitches at the end.

From Greystar ... "Aphex Twin's seminal work, Selected Ambient Works 85-92, came out 32 years ago today.

This is a passion project commemorating this great work. Over 40 artists have come together to put forth their unique versions, remixes, covers, reworks, and recreations of these tracks!

This project has a bit of history. It has been in the works since before 2016.

Before this Bandcamp page existed, I was involved in a few "Aphex Twin Tribute compilations" organized on the /r/aphextwin subreddit. Eventually, folks decided to tackle covering the entirety of Selected Ambient Works 85-92. This culminated in "Selected Ambient Covers 2016", a soundcloud-exclusive release that fell short of its lofty goal: not all tracks were covered, and some of the tracks were unfinished. Since then, I've led projects covering Selected Ambient Works Vol. II, ...I Care Because You Do, and Drukqs, among others, all seemingly more ambitious than the last! Having met so many new talented artists from all of these projects, it felt like the right time to return to SAW85-92 and do it justice.

Anyways, I'm a bit tired, I might write more here later ... there's a few tracks missing from CD #2, marked as "[COMING SOON]". They'll be ready in time for the physical CD, but needed a lil extra time to be finished before this digital release. They'll be added here in post, so keep an eye out! Follow this page if you want to be notified of when they're added. I heard a snippet of WHRK's Hedphelym Remix and it's very very good, you won't wanna miss it.

Adepta Editions is pleased to announce the release of AEX-04 | Jon Murphy | Modular Overture, a 12" vinyl EP that explores the depths and textures of modular sound. For this fourth installment in the AEX series, artist Jon Murphy, formerly known as 'Gravy Murphy' or 'Yanni' of 'Cissi & Yanni', presents his work under his own name, marking a new chapter in his musical career.

Modular Overture is a meticulously crafted work built with a Eurorack system, where Murphy creates immersive atmospheres, delving into the experimental realm of raw, analogue synthesis, unafraid to explore abrasive sonic territories. The Westlicht Performer sequencer, along with modules from Noise Engineering and Acidlabs, are key elements in this EP's sonic palette, which is characterized by its dynamism and depth. The release includes four original compositions that invite introspection and movement, exploring diverse emotions and sonic landscapes. In addition, the EP features three remixes by prominent artists in the electronic scene: Serge Geyzel, Cignol, and ΠΕΡΑ ΣΤΑ ΟΡΗ, who bring their own perspectives and styles to Murphy's work, further enriching the sonic experience.

This EP is the last in a series of four releases from Adepta Editions that have featured the collaboration of talented visual artist Vesna Vrdoljak. Her graphic work for Modular Overture complements the sonic proposal with an evocative and contemporary aesthetic, creating a cohesive and captivating audiovisual experience.

Bodañ  is a journey through genres and styles, where escape is the key word. For this new Bodañ show, the guest is @vanadismd !

Spotted by the Maintenant festival and Astropolis, Vanadís is an inveterate researcher. Resident and founder of ÖND in Rennes, she covers a wide musical spectrum, from acid to electro, EBM, industrial techno and UK Bass. Each set is a veritable avalanche of dissonant sounds and unstructured rhythms at a variety of tempos. She also produces under the alias DJ Padset, where breaks and battered synths give way to a new universe. 
Since September 2020 she has been featured on Tsugi Radio's monthly residency, ‘Digressions Auditives’, where she shares her wide-ranging musical universe. She is also resident for Dôme, an Astropolis entity promoting the Breton scene, having passed through the festival springboard.
