Swedish mainstay Johan S started out in the late 90s, working with local legends from StoneBridge and SweMix to world-renowned artists such as Todd Terry and Robin S, and has since earned multiple gold and platinum record awards across a thirty-year career. 2024 showed no signs of slowing down for the Swede thanks to a slew of releases via Toolroom, Voltaire Music, and his own Subtractive Recordings imprint, and now he returns to Junior Jack’s Adesso Music in the New Year with ‘A New Generation’.

Music producer, writer and DJ Johan S started out in the late 1990´s with the legendary StoneBridge and SweMix working with numerous house classics from Robin S and Todd Terry to name a few. Johan was also a part of the successful production team behind the multi-platinum selling acts Alcazar and BWO.
With over 30 years in the industry, he’s achieved multiple gold and platinum records awards, with a repertoire filled not only with original tracks but also stellar remixes.

Johan's releases have come on a wealth of the industries most recognised imprints, including Toolroom, Defected, Perfect Havoc, Wh0 Plays, Simma Black, Adesso, Glasgow Underground, Roger Sanchez's Undr The Radr and Demuir's Purveyor Underground.
The industry heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Danny Howard, Meduza, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez, Low Steppa, Claptone, and Ferreck Dawn have been showing live and on-air support for his tracks. Johan has also received tremendous radio support from Kiss FM, Kiss Dance, BBC R1 and many more.
