A trendsetter and seasoned tastemaker, the Welsh dance music superstar pioneered his own distinct sound, drawing on his deep knowledge and experience to cultivate DJ sets that weave through a range of diverse, complementary styles selected to energise and enchant the dance floor.

Addicted digger for the most hidden, forgotten and rare gems and passionate in sharing all his finds, Do-Funkk is a music lover, record collector, disc jockey and producer with big love for music without any barriers of genre or age.

Do-Funkk is a DJ/producer based out of Dublin, Ireland. Best known for his self-titled YouTube channel (the likes of which he has cleverly used to showcase his wide-ranging tastes to audiences around the world), he is also heavily involved in Minisoul, a Dublin-based clubnight and label that regularly brings some of the scene’s most vital names to the Irish capital. An intimate event that focuses on the musical journey rather than the DJ playing the record, MiniSoul has quickly earned a reputation as one of the city’s best-loved sessions, attracting the likes of Cassy and Secretsundaze to irish shores, while Do-Funkk himself has also played alongside the likes of Margaret Dygas, Tama Sumo and Ian Pooley to name but a few.

As his MiniSoul project drew inspiration from the likes of Secretsundaze and Get Perlonized, Do-Funk’s obsession for electronic music initially came about via a collaboration with Desyn Masiello’s much-respected Faciendo, a project which served as a sort of mentorship for his never-ending quest for the perfect groove. Alongside his parties, YouTube channel and DJ sets, Do-Funkk has also recently stepped into the production domain, with his promising early cuts released via his MiniSoul label — as well as the promise of much more to come in the future.

More recently, Do-Funkk has become affiliated with Dana Ruh’s Brouqade label, becoming a regular guest at parties hosted at the likes of Hoppetosse and Club Der Visonaere. Added to this, Dana’s KMA60 has become another keen supporter, with the fast-climbing label and record store one which shares a similar ethos to Do-Funkk himself.
