Letztes Jahr auf dem Connect! Festival 2018 habe ich mich durch den Nieselregen an Menschen vorbei gedrückt, bin von Stage zu Stage getanzt und irgendwann auch einmal bis zum hintersten Areal im Wald gelangt. Eine Große Lichtung mit vielen tanzenden Menschen und eine überdimensional große Eule, in die sogar ganze Menschen gepasst haben. Das sah toll aus! Trotzdem habe ich lieber die Augen zugemacht und mich zur Musik hin und her bewegt. Dieses Jahr hatte ich die Augen lieber offen gehalten, denn es sah von meinem animalischen Ausguck aus so schön aus, die vielen altbekannten, neu- und auch unbekannten Menschen beim Hüfteschwingen zu meiner Musikauswahl zuzugucken. Vielen Vielen Dank, dass ihr da wart, dass ich da sein durfte und dass das Connect! Open Air stattgefunden hat. Noch vor einem Jahr hätte ich das nicht mal im Traum erwartet.

Weiter geht’s in unserer Podcast-Reihe mit dem Tape 07. Dafür haben wir das Künstler-Duo Dan & Rather eingeladen, uns ein feines Techno-Tape aufzunehmen. Die beiden haben sich in den letzten Jahren durch Auftritte in Clubs wie dem Kowalski, dem White Noise oder der Bar Romantica in die Herzen der Stuttgarter Musikszene gespielt. 
Außerdem sind sie mit ihrem Kollektiv T-Minus ein fester Bestandteil der Stuttgarter Rave- und Subkultur-Szene. Also Kopfhörer auf und Eintauchen in eine Welt voller deeper und melodischer Sounds!

Das schwarze Gold Biz' ist ein hartes. Und es wird nicht einfacher-nur vielleicht ein bisschen netter-, nachdem sich Piratenvogel Lisbird und Käptn Haddock zusammen taten, um Gehörgänge aller Menschen und Meiers zu entern und deren Säure-Bass-Haushalt ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen.  Wer sich also nicht zur jenen Opening Stunde in der versumpften Räuber*innen Höhle befand, sollte sich schleunigst dem besonderen Treatment unterziehen und sich das Set in die Ohren träufeln lassen.

3 QUESTIONS to VAMOS ART:

Q: How did you guys meet and what was the motor doing electronic music together?

A: We got to know each other early in childhood during drum lessons. Later we met again at the same parties we attended and where we played music together. The motor doing electronic music is until today the love for the music and especially electronic music like Techno.

Q: Talking about your mix: What do these tracks especially mean to you?

A: We combine the tracks in our mix with cool club evenings and wild after parties. They have always accompanied us and laid the foundation for which music we particularly like today and how we build our DJ sets.

Q: Which future projects are coming later this year?

A: We are currently working on new tracks in our studio that will be released this year. We are looking forward to our next gigs in Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg. We also can’t wait to play at some great festivals this summer. Stay tuned!

Lately did enthusiasts of emotional and driving techno wonder how such a new youngster was destroying the dance floor. No matter if it was at Sonnemondsternefestival or Katermukke Label Nights 2017 and 2018 in Hamburg as well as Cologne. Every time it has been a so and emotionally outstanding, that checking the line up was an obligatory move to make. And then it always said: LEVT.
You can already tell, that he is one of the most uprising stars of his generation. But no wonder, since the young DJ and producer grew up surrounded by electronic music. Early inspirational influences have been Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. These were followed by the music universe of Katermukke. Since he has been 16 years old he spent every free second at the turntables to refine his sound.
Still on the side there was high school to be finished and juniors A-league football not to be neglected. But it turned out his heart is beating with and for the music so there was no other option than throwing himself into producing his own music. The result is his first EP “The Beast”, which is released on Voltage Records. As the name already announces does it present his sheer powerful and furious side. In addition does a Remix by Felix Kröcher underline the
promising nature of his productions. With this EP does LEVT already start to fight against the thinking, that the youth is only dedicated to rap and techno got a recruitment problem. Since this could be the beginning of something big.

Adi Dassler, the guy who is born in the Black Forest in south of Germany, had his base between Germany, Switzerland and Mexico. He is always on tour to catch the best party in the world; the surefire guarantee for an always full dance floor made of emptied “Raverhearts“  . He regularly plays in the most famous electro clubs and outdoor events in the areas and has the opportunity to work regularly with great artists and labels.   You could definitely call him a visionary - his finger always on the pulse of the scene.
