Sons of Puha are a live jam band of sorts. Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, we got together around an MPC full of bits and pieces and started to jam. This song is the result of a long distance relationship. I moved to London back in 2007 so the live jams stopped and the internet file sharing began. I'm moving back to NZ in 2 days so it's time to pick up where we left off...

Wow, I lost all the files for this "work-in-progress" remix in a HDD crash a long time ago, and thought all traces of it were long gone, but just came across this rough mp3 mixdown of it on a backup DVD from years ago.

So, here it is, in all it's unfinished glory. Praise the lord for small mercy's :-)

Hi-Hat Club Vol 5 - Haus & Garten” Remix EP

Tofu is the white cat on the front cover, Alter is the spotty one on the back. Both share their crib with DJ Adlib who is extending his Hi-Hat Club record “Haus & Garten” with this EP. “Tofu & Alter” assembles six remixes by Dexter, James Pants, Julian Dyne, TBRCK, Danny Breaks and Adlib himself. Featuring Declaime, Black Spade,  Frank Nitt, The Primeridian, Panet Asia and Adi Dick (Fat Freddy's Drop) on vocals. Robert Winter did the photos and Chicken George the artwork.

Tofu ist die weisse Katze vorne auf dem Cover, Alter ist die gescheckte auf der Rückseite. Beide wohnen bei DJ Adlib, der mit dieser EP seine Hi-Hat Club Folge „Haus & Garten“ verlängert. „Tofu & Alter“ kommt mit sechs Remixen von Dexter, James Pants, Julien Dyne, TBRCK, DAnny Breaks und Adlib selbst. Adi Dick & Andreya Triana - Dream Lines

Singer, songwriter, beat maker, producer from Wellington, New Zealand, now living in Oslo... 

A member of the extended Fly My Pretties band, featuring in the 2005 "Return of Fly My Pretties" shows and live recording. "Get Out" being one of the crowd favourites, was also re-recorded and featured on the first ever studio recordings album from FMP released in 2019. 

Toured Europe with Fat Fredddy's Drop in 2007 as a backing singer. 

Attended Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle, 2005 and Red Bull Music Academy's "A Class of it's Own" (alongside Theo Parrish, Mark Pritchard, Steve Spacek, Om'mas Keith, The Mizell Brothers, Black Spade, Andreya Triana, Julien Dyne...) in Cologne, 2007. It was here that Theo's "Chemistry" was recorded, with Adi playing guitar on the track. 

Started out as singer and guitar player for soul/rock/blues trio Stylus77, and has been part of many other live improvisational jam bands along with performing live solo, with looping pedals, beat beat machines and effects as a one-man-band.
