The Adäka Cultural Festival is an annual celebration of First Nations Arts and Culture. This year, It will be taking place from July 1st - 7th, at the Kwanlin Dün Centre.

Madi Dixon is a 23 year old Indigenous singer/songwriter born and raised in the Yukon. She plays acoustic, electric, and bass guitars as well as keyboard and the drums. Her preferred musical style is blues and R&B infused country and rock.

In addition to her significant performance background as a solo artists as well as in many local bands, Madi graduated from the Music and Technology Program at Selkirk College in Nelson B.C. where she focussed her time and attention on her song writing, guitar technique and performance style.
