Guybrush is Berliner through & through! In the west he learned to walk, in the east he stood on two legs. A music enthusiast from an early age. His first encounter with electronic music came by immersing himself in the Berlin nightlife. Soon it was clear that it was not just about simple clubbing, but much more about being part of something bigger. Until then it was enough for him to take on the role of a dancer on the floor. But the moment that changed all this happened, when he discovered the Berlin club "Sisyphos". So fascinated by the music & energy of the crowd, he decided to give up the role of the dancer & take on the role of the DJ to pass on his vision of music to the people.
The sound of Guybrush is always driving and accompanies the listener through a musical trip, as long as everyone lands safely again, all is well.

About NAWS:

Over the last couple of years Naws have swiftly been establishing themselves as an exciting act to watch out for within the Melodic House Scene. 

With a nod to their Welsh heritage, the name Naws is a Welsh word meaning “tone” or “vibe”.

With an upcoming packed monthly release schedule following successful releases on Setting Sail, Sekora, Hathor and Monowave over the last 12 months, including “Whisper” that has reached over 1.1m streams, Naws are growing in prominence.

The duo has been featured regularly across BBC radio via BBC Introducing, and been Tune of the Week twice.  They have also received radio show support from the likes of Chicane and Sultan + Shepard.

Drawing upon a growing arsenal of analogue hardware and software synths they focus on a unique full melodic sound, which excitingly they present to audiences via a dynamic Live Show.
This Live show has been a feature of the successful sold out Deep Underground nights they have run in their hometown of Nottingham alongside their friend and DJ Tris.

Moving into 2024 they have a number of collaborations upcoming and exciting new material to share with the world.

It wasn't long before they discovered a shared desire to combine today's percussion with yesterday's synthesizers. This blend gave birth to their universe, somewhere between Italo Body Music and Trance. >>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Mein erstes Mal aufgelegt habe ich 2012 als ich noch ein junger Spund war. Das war im Wohnzimmer von meinem Bruder, seinem Billo-Setup und seiner Audiothek.  Der meinte: "Mach mal, du kannst das bestimmt!" Dafür bin ich ihm immer noch sehr dankbar, weil es mein erster Kontakt zu House und dem Musikmachen war! 

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?
Für dieses Set hat mich das Label "Molt" (!), der Frühling und der frühe Downtempo inspiriert. Ich vermisse die Zeit wo es nicht so viel um musikalische Banger ging und alle einfach rumprobiert haben. But: "The times they are a changing", i guess. Und zurückblicken kann man ja immer noch, vor allem wenn die direktive “Schleichend” heißt <3 
 
>>Welche Ziele als Künstler:in willst du noch erreichen?
Als Künstler habe ich mittlerweile nur noch ein Ziel: mit mir und meinen Sets / Liedern glücklich und zufrieden sein. Schon länger arbeite ich daran, mich weniger mit anderem zu vergleichen und weniger von mir zu erwarten. Der ständige Kontakt mit dem durch Zahlen verkörperten Erfolg, und jeder Menge Selbstdarstellungen (z.B. auf Instagram), machen das jedoch nicht leicht. 
Die beste Medizin gegen den Unmut sind für mich liebe Nachrichten und Kommentare! Der Einfluss von zuhörenden Person wird glaub ich sehr unterschätzt. Daher ein dickes dickes DANKE an alle gesprächigen Hoffnungsspender dieser Welt. You made my day so many times!

One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

Representing xXETEXx, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene. With plenty high-quality releases in her career with Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, Psy4Aliens, Zenon Records and Kafka Tempo.

           NYC based electronic music Experimenter. Antonio Peralta is a Dominican-born independent electronic music producer and Dj. Peralta discovered his passion for the music industry in 2005 while working as a music production assistant for a local record label. Few years later he moved to Colorado State where he met Denver underground scene becoming more and more attracted by the creation of rhythms somewhere in between House & Techno Music and the essence of organic instruments from all around the world.
