Greetings fellow Forest companions,

Up next in our sonic voyage is a various artists album titled ‘Feuille Morte’, compiled by Olivia Trausel aka Via.

From childhood, Via was exposed to music. Her father used to play bass and blues and her fascination with rhythms and effects began to grow during those early years. In 2008, she attended her first psytrance forest party and has been captivated by the music ever since.

In 2015, Via created the label Fleye Records with Vikkelsø, focusing on the night time brim of Psychedelic Trance. In 2018, she handed over the label to a mate and joined Muimina Sounds in the summer of 2022 as a label DJ – the concept of Feuille Morte began brewing shortly after.

The title Feuille Morte represents ‘Dead Leaf’. As autumn sets in and the trees that watch out for us goes to sleep and their leaves begin to fade, we would like to present you with these ice-cold nocturnal beats that comes in autumn colours. Via has focused on the Scandinavian-influenced funk of forest psy, carefully selecting tracks from talented musicians to bring this vision to life.

In Feuillemort’s embrace, hues ignite
Dancing in their crackling, a fiery glory.

Cooler winds whisper promises untold,

09 Sesonus - Fluid Realm

It's a pleasure to announce that our label is releasing 4 extra episodes to round off the year and celebrate our 1-year podcast anniversary with all of you, our beloved loyal fans, and give you some early Christmas presents: One Special Edition episode from each of the label founders: Kæt, Prodelic, XaMaX, and MoLunar. 

KæT will make the start and with that also make her debut on our podcast. She has been a very active part of our events already but now also enchants you here with her music. KæT likes to create her musical journeys over different styles with happy, energizing sounds but also dark and experimental vibes. 

On top of that, she wants to honour Parvati Records' album Tits on Fire's 20th anniversary which is the album that initiated the new sound of what we now all know and love as 'forest psy-trance' - and that took place in her birthtown, Aarhus, Denmark, where she was born 13th of August at 8:12am! Therefore, this podcast is being released at 8:12am (in Goa, where we currently are on tour) on the 8/12. Enjoy! <3
