I had a request to cover another great Verve tune called “Sonnet.” This is my first time covering Sonnet, having loved the song for a long time without ever having played it...so this was a welcome challenge! I hope I did it justice. Recorded live solo acoustic at home, and dedicated to RedRose Collage (Meg) who requested it. If you dig it please feel free to comment or repost! Thank you, Tim 🙏🏻✌🏻

This song was written in 2020 and represents the ebb and flow of emotions living through a pandemic with limited social interaction. I was recorded in Dec 2020 on a Baldwin grand piano with additional tracks of Takamine acoustic guitar, Fender jazz bass, and sampled drums.
