Uhf is a spanish duo, founded by techno dj/producer José Castillo aka Milford and David Aragón, a highly respected djs in the electronic scene of Madrid. Together they've created electro beats and idm, which mixed with old school tunes, with european influences in nineties, and it undoubtfully offers a taste of Detroit. Their first single was released in 2014 and included in a great compilation of their own label Gladio Operations, along with renown artists as Boris Divider, ERP and Luke Eargoggle, among others.

A landscape where Stockhausen, Drexciya, Coil, Daphne Oram and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Schooly D, Aphex Twin, Delia Derbyshire, Autechre, Adidas and Booty Bass collide. Her mix in the EPM Podcast series slices open the underbelly of contemporary avant-garde electronic production and lays its festering carcass in the middle of the dancefloor. Al Ferox – Kobayashi / Dancefloor Killers

Alessandro Farace es un napolitano afincado actualmente en Medellin, pero que durante mucho tiempo estuvo viviendo  en Montepellier  que se ha bautizado así mismo con el sobrenombre latino de Alejandro Feroz. Apasionado del techno duro, de las mujeres y del desfase sin freno Al Ferox traduce en su lenguaje musical el alma torturada de esa bestia de la noche que nunca tiene suficiente. Es el amo y señor de Kobayashi Records, sello mítico en la escena del sur de Francia que contó con el fervor del público a finales de los 90's entre los fans del electro-techno francés más duro -incluso Óscar Mulero editó en Kobayashi allá por el año 2000-. Claro que poco antes no se le había ocurrido otra cosa que montar un subsello, Dancefloor Killers con el que conseguía el punto punkarra que a Gigolo siempre le costó conseguir. Es muy amigo de Vitalic con el que montó el proyecto Vital Ferox con el que editó el 12" ''Absolut'' (2001), precisamente el primer disco del sello Dancefloor Killers.

El nombre del momento. Importante lo de su nombre porque cómo ha ocurrido con otros seudónimos misteriosos, su identidad real tardó bastante en despejarse. Se dijo de él que era Richie Hawtin aunque con el tiempo ya ni se sabe cuantos nombres más se barajaron en innumerables especulaciones, Mika Vainio fue otro, pero al final se descubrió que su nombre de pila es Stephan Metzger. Sus primeros cuatro maxis como Sleeparchive - Elephant Island EP, Recycle E.P., Infrared Glow E.P. y Research E.P.- le ayudaron a ganarse el favor del público interesado por el nuevo techno de bajos pesados, salpicado con acid y estructuras complejas para un productor que, pese a su timidez, tiene mucho que decir. Debutó en un escenario en España el 19 de noviembre de 2005 en el The Loft de Barcelona donde por primera vez se le puede ver en directo. Su relación con España se estrechó bastante cuando firmó una remezcla en la séptima referencia del sello de Karlos Phazer y Mikel_e, uno de los nuevos labels de techno de aquí: Cray1 LabWorks.

¡Feliz Año a tod@s! Hemos tardado en felicitaros pero queríamos hacerlo con un regalo en forma de set y es que hoy arrancamos de nuevo con las UEMA Series y Wavelet es el responsable de la entrega número 82.
Wavelet es valenciano, matemático y amante, conocedor y defensor del Electro más purista. Bien conocidas son las fiestas We Are The Robots, de las que fue cofundador, y que durante años bajo el amparo de Hypnotica Colectiva, se convirtieron en un verdadero foco de resistencia Electro en el Levante. Y es que Wavelet además de ser un gran conocedor del Electro e IDM es todo un activista.
Fruto de su conocimiento y nivel de implicación con la escena Electro es el nuevo proyecto en el que, nuestro querido Wavelet, se ha embarcado y es que próximamente estrena sello, Tensor Norm, cuyo primer vinilo lo firman ADJ y Sigma Álgebra (cofundador del sello).
Wavelet es un gran amigo del Colectivo y la verdad que andábamos con muchas ganas de publicar alguno de sus magistrales sets, y no ha fallado, Wavelet nos trae una selección perfecta a vinilo y muy bien mezclada.
