Benjamin Magits was born in Belgium in 1971. He grew up surrounded by music (very present in his family) and has always been fascinated by electronic music and instruments from a very young age.

He got his first synthesiser at 14 and got involved in all kinds of musical projects from radio advertisement creation to multimedia soundtracks composing. He then got into doing live music at all sorts of events.

In 1995, he worked on a personal project and he released an EP on AtlasCom.

In 2017, he initiated with other musicians the organisation of a Modular Meet and Jam event in Brussels. This event attracted a lot of artists and entered the Brussels Electronic Marathon.

He has always been passionated by composing music, finding new sounds with a influence from the electronic music from the 80's.

Biography: 
Hi friends my name is Hakan Cetinkaya
In the year of 1979 I was born in a city of Turkey, Istanbul. My interest to music started from my childhood. When I was young I listen rock and metal music mostly. While I was singing in some bands I found myself as a popular dance music listener suddenly. Those days I started to prepare mixes through cassettes to my friends and groups. Then I came across with progressive house and trance music. Since 2000’s to nowadays I played music in some small events. However I had to give a break to music for some reasons. Now my love raises again. In my sets I love play melodic, progressive tracks and dark sounds more. I love techno music so much. Each of my set has their own story and rather than one genre I would prefer various genres for both playing and listening. Within my aims in 2021 I will see my track in the lists of Beatport. Thanks for listening to me

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
