Hi everybody here is some sounds I have been documenting.  I record everything with the strings tuned to 432 Hz.   I use basic old fashioned recording equipment.. I use a Tascam 24 track digital recorder and condenser microphone :)

Policulture is a five-piece original mountain reggae band from Boulder, Colorado. Policulture emanates heavy drum and bass, roots rhythm, a melodic horn section, and conscious lyrics. They represent reggae music by blending culture, identity, and musical freedom. Established in 2010 out of the University of Colorado this group of musicians quickly developed their foundation and continues to grow and evolve as a band. Policulture creates music to bridge the gap between generations and unite all under one sound. Their message is created to enlighten you and music made to move you.

Victor Barnes (circa 1998-2001)

Victor Barnes from the beginning was a jam band with a more-the-merrier attitude toward everything. Most weeks they played 4-5 nights right up to and past closing time. And if you played an instrument, you would probably end up on stage at some point. 

The Band
Minkes was the leader, herding the clowns around night after night and gig to gig. C. May was the main songwriter/lyricist, penning most of the band's early signature tunes. The band enjoyed talent from the classically trained Mosko and Brennan to the enormously talented and musically broad "Ranger Rick" Bradstreet. Loftus, T. May and Sunny Boy are representative of the rich musical community this band was born in to. It was a rich time in Northern Colorado Music with bands like Drag the River, One Lump Sum, Subdudes, Bluegrass Patriots, Front Range, ALL, Victor Barnes (etc.) sharing the stages of Mountain Tap, Lucky Joe's, Linden's, Avogadro Number, Mishawaka (etc.). 

Ranger Rick Bradstreet
Last, we want to recognize our good friend and mentor "Ranger Rick" Bradstreet. He was a true musical force and a great human being. Rick was our coach, inspiration and friend, and he passed on far too early taking an enormous spirit with him.

DJ Story is a side project of Jacob Louis aka @antandra. He has been producing/DJing since the late 90s. His music takes the listener on a journey to a different kind of place. It's a place where the facades and storylines that play out in our heads get flipped upside-down, and we can truly awaken to our absolute transcendence. It's a surrealistic place you can imagine yourself coming to over and over again. 

We are one global community lucid dreaming our stories into the matrix of light, and music goes beyond language barriers to convey deep spiritual meaning.  DJ Story's life experiences traveling through the multi-verse have inspired him to compose and produce activating transmissions through subgenres ranging from indigenous, ambient, dub, and glitch to house, breaks, psytrance, and techno.  

Story has performed at festivals and events such as Burning Man, Source, Telemagica, Mystic Garden Gathering, Synergenesis full moon gatherings, and desert raves on the lineup with artists including Ott, Bluetech, Beats Antique, David Starfire, LYNX & Janover, EOTO, Random Rab, Phutureprimitive, DJ Dragonfly, Tipper, Rara Avis, Cheb i Sabbah, Desert Dwellers.
