Hector Romero:  
There have been lots of changes over the past four decades in New York Nightlife. The sounds have gone from Disco to Freestyle to House to Techno; the venues have gone from Studio 54 to Palladium to Sound Factory and Pacha to Output; and the borough to dance in has gone from Manhattan to Brooklyn. But there has been one element in the community that has been able to survive the ever – evolving landscape, and that is the DJ. Not many of course, but a few talented, Inspired DJ / Artists have remained at the forefront of the industry during this time.  One of those is Hector Romero. Born and raised in The Bronx, Hector’s DJ experiences include playing legendary venues like Red Zone, Limelight, Palladium, Save The Robots, The Roxy, Cielo and Output.

For this episode I decided to do something different and release my 6+ hour LIVE Recording from Bar Américas in Guadalajara.

There's something special about this venue. I've played there twice now and the energy is completely electric. They love techno and it seems that I can get as dark, weird, progressive, techy, or anything else I'm feeling while on the journey with them. That freedom and trust on a dancefloor is something unexplainable. This one was a marathon and it travels to a lot of different corners.

The accompanying art piece was inspired by the energy that night and the easily recognizable neon LED grid on the low rise ceiling above the crowd.

Born in Brazil, Adnan Sharif immigrated to San Francisco, California in 1987.

His DJ career began in 1995, and his musical style includes all genres of House Music, ranging from deep, minimal to tech.

Adnan is the founder and resident of the Forward SF party, which for 13 years made big part of the San Francisco's electronic culture.

Since May 2013 he is a resident at  D.EDGE in São Paulo, at the parties Freak Chic and Superafter.

At the end of 2000 he began his journey in music production, releasing in labels such as:
Smoke N Mirrors, D-Edge Records, OM Records, Uniting Souls Music, Release Sustain, Erase Records, Rezongar Music, Area Sur Records, Temple Music Group, Tarantic Records and Jah Love Recordings.
