Monzilla is a newly emerging artist who loves to explore the melodic and progressive side of House and Techno. His cleanly produced sound is dominated by rolling grooves, euphoric strings, haunting vocal samples and carefully crafted percussion. Monzilla has always had a deep interest in music, which began with his late grandfather, who taught him how to use a keyboard. He cites his influences as being Chicane, Above&Beyond and The Thrillseekers, which is clearly evident in his music production. Throughout this last year, Monzilla has taken his professionalism to the next level and with great success. His self-released debut track ‘Milan’ has been supported by DJ Jay Stewart and has aired on both Ibiza Stardust radio and Better Days FM. Royalty Free Audio For A New Age.......

A lover of house music since I was 17. In 1987 I danced at The Hacienda and since that night, music as always been my love affair.
As a student I would play the early House sounds of Chicago and the early garage sounds of NYC with some soul thrown in.

I stopped DJing in 1993 due to my feeling to the music at the time was lost and I began to be a serious collector of underground vinyl from the disco era. A huge reader of anything to do with Larry Levan and the NY scene in the 70's and 80's I began bringing that passion to my sound.

Rediscovered DJing in 2005 with my trusty lap top as a much loved hobby bringing all my musical influences together, creating personal mixes for friends.
 
My sound is heavily Paradise Garage influenced with a strong sway towards the nu house sounds mixed with soul and disco. I love the classics from my Hacienda nights and I continue to play these as they are still so great. I love soundtracks so my mixes hopefully reflect the perfect soundtrack of a moment.
