Elia Crecchi, producer/dj and A/R of Yuma Recordings. He loves everything's about arts and music. Born in 90s, he's one of the youngest italian producer and label owner at the same time. His natural ambient is the studio, as the "techy boy" of Yuma crew, he's always in search of new musical feelings, to improve his sound also with experimental methods.

 

Elia knows the Club very younger; At 13 years old, he join a dj contest in the area of Pisa, he wins, and gain the residency for a small club every week. In the next years his experience and his gigs grows, playing and performing in all the major tuscany venues. In 2007 he get in touch with Sound Bros, and some months later Elia starts to work for Sound Bros Recordings as A/R. He releases EP and remixes on labels like 303lovers, Robsoul, and obviously Sound Bros Rec. hitting the Tech House & Deep House Beatport charts, and supported by all the major artists of the scene.

 

In 2011, he starts the project "Yuma" in partnership with his mates Luper and Bruni & Danielle.

The idea behind the label is the ability to transmit futuristic frequencies with any available resources. By selecting and presenting audio material with the power to change, our endeavours are focused on overcoming the mediocre audio programming that is being fed to the planet, creating barriers within our minds and between civilizations. Using the science of creation to transcend percieved limitations. Connecting the advances in our culture and technology with the important lessons of visionaries that came before us.

The vinyl record is the symbol of DJ culture even in the time of digital mixing and auto-syncing. It represents more than just the physical form or the tangible aspect of DJ-ing. It is the medium whose cyclical movement best represents time itself. And in the end, all music is temporal art.

The art of the DJ mix is finding a space in time where the output becomes greater than just the sum of its parts. It could be an unexpected sensation, a great sequence of songs or that moment where two records fit together so seamlessly, so perfectly, they merge into a new entity.

We choose to enter the abyss of modern electronic output to share our vision of the future. A future that is not based on flavor-of-the-week hype but one that is built on the experience of a life-long journey.

SEBA has been born on 22.06.1986 in Rijeka, Croatia and is now living in The Netherlands. A nice fact is that Rijeka has a rich history, many achievments during the past and alot of ancient monuments, for example Rijeka was the main seaport of Yugoslavia, she also had the second underground club in whole Europe during world war ll.

During his childhood, after returning from the Netherlands under influence of various music he starts showing interest in electronic music. He felt "that" something when he came across House and Techno, those are the spots he regularly attented. Soon he begins to spend time on analyzing, resurching different DJ sets. Escaping from home, waiting his parents to fall asleep was no stranger to him.

Croatia and her pioneers of electronic music scene were truly "Underground". It all started curiously from where he could improve and create his own expression and vision. But this was not enough in his life to stop his pursuit and interest wich took him right to the next logical step in the story – behind the decks.

Establishing his place on line-ups, boats, parties, clubs, readily he deviced his own style – he fell in love with a mixed variation of genres between House, Tech and glimpse of Mnml. This was the first step in the story that will follow a clear direction of his, perennial, search, education and career on the electronic music scene. Today his own stile is broaden from more kinds of electronic music, all kind of genres.

During 2007/08 he became rezident DJ in one of the first underground clubs in Rijeka - Tesla, during 2009 he was resident DJ at the cult club - Fun Academy what actually is the first underground club space in former Yugoslavia, 2009 was also the year of his second residency on Island Pag - The Calypso club what is known as a destination for the electronic music scene with festivals such as Sonus, Hideout, Awakenings, 2010 winter residency at the new club - La Noche (ex. Fun Academy).

SEBA played along with a lot of important DJ's, he was influenced by these artists and his own style got improved and modified but always focusing on generating atmospheres and feelings. His mixes and dj set's were well known for their sophisticated noncommercial sounds.

Artists SEBA shared the desk with are: Petar Dundov, Dejan Milicevic, James Zabiela, Seraphim Codex, MC Alex Donati, Darrin Lennel Bolden aka Ruffneck, Solomun, Alen Sforzina, Jonathan Ulysses etc..

Apears on various Radio Shows: BodyJack FM - Rijeka's Svid Radio, Digital Fm - HRT's Radio Osijek, Students Radio Sova - HRT's Radio Rijeka, eMotion - Proton Radio, Music4Body&Soul - Belgrades B92, Music After Dinner - Puola's Radio Maestral, Bulgarian Radio Show - Echocity FM etc.

This big experience helped him to gain self confidence and security in his own work same as practice in his skills. The saga continous, his spiritual growth, a new path from within, more pure and joyful. 2020 his new (old) residential adress are The Netherlands.
