DJ Soulseo began to listen to music as a child, listening to bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Genesis, Pink Floyd,  all great artists from the 70s & 80s.

At the age of 16, he bought his first electric guitar and started playing with a group in his home city. In parallel to his love for Rock music, he also often went out to Discos, appreciating the great artists of that movement such as Chic, EW & F, Change, but he particularly loved 'that Funky music.
Two years later, Soulseo gathered some musical experience in a local radio station and at the discos. During the 80s, he lived for 10 years in Zurich and was able to follow closely the birth of the Techno movement. 
Then one day, about 15 years ago, he  bought his first modern mixer with 2 CDJs and started mixing - never stopped.

I started long time ago when I was 16 years old as a DJ working on several Radio Stations in Barcelona . In some of them I shared studios with wellknown DJ’s nowadays.I used to make Radio Shows based on Funky Disco genres. My most wellknown radio show was called “FunkYonky” .Later and due to my engineering background studies specialized in Sound & Image at University I collaborated with some other radio programmes of electronics devices and radio amateur. Actually I still have the hobby of radio amateur with my own callsign EA3HQI as well as other hobbies like being a magician or travelling with my California van. Since I finished University I have been involved with my own company in the field of electronics and nowadays I come back into the DJ world with a lot of enthusiasm. I played in several Beach Clubs , Rooftops Hotels , discotheques ,etc... . My favourites genres are still the same than when I was 16 but actually I really enjoy remembering such a 80-90’s music tracks in a re-edit House/Tech version style . Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. Currently mixing for shitz & gigglez, but aim to be playing out again this year.

I like to think, my style of mixing is smooth, I try to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job.

My musical style usually falls into these categories; house, jackin, nu disco, disco house, soulful house but always funky as .......
