Hi everyone, introduce you to the Extract series: music created during my live preformances. 

When performing Live I have a strong component of improvisation and control over midi sequencing, which leads to moments created spontaniously on stage that won't be replicable. Extract 01 corresponds to 5 minutes of my performance at Jardim Sonoro festival (2023), and to my interpretation this recording has a story to tell and lives by itself. Being also a DJ, the aim of the Extract series will be presenting music that can be played by DJ's, and I decided to release Extract 01 after playing it regularly (and naturally) on my sets. 

This is a vinyl only release (10") limited to 60 copies.

Murk.Hybrid's latest release on Alhena, "Grietas Del Vacio," is a four-track journey into the depths of techno. Each track is a unique exploration of sound, creating a cohesive and powerful EP.

"Ecos De La Grieta" kicks off the release with a haunting, atmospheric soundscape. The track builds with a driving rhythm and intricate percussion, while ethereal pads and delayed synth stabs create a sense of vast, open space. It's a hypnotic and immersive introduction to the EP.

"Pulsos De Penumbra" track takes a darker turn. Its raw, energetic techno cut with a pulsating bassline and sharp, rhythmic percussion. The industrial-tinged synths and relentless energy make this a peak-time weapon for any techno set.

"Fragmentos Del Vacio" offers a more experimental and broken-beat approach. The track is built around fragmented melodic elements and complex rhythmic patterns, creating a sense of controlled chaos. It's a testament to Murk.Hybrid's ability to push the boundaries of the genre.

The closing track, "Vibracion Espectral," is a deep and dubby affair. The focus here is on texture and atmosphere, with a deep, rolling bassline and shimmering, spectral pads that evolve throughout the track. It's a mesmerizing and introspective conclusion to a stellar EP.

The Colombian artist, currently based in Barcelona, brings over 20 years of unwavering dedication to electronic music and club culture.
