Buckle up. Ercy Mirage’s A Change in Paradigm isn’t just an EP—it’s a dimensional rift, a wormhole carved through genre and consciousness alike.

From the first note, you’re thrust into a sonic maelstrom where analog legends—Moog, Virus TI, TR-303—growl and snarl over the tectonic pulse of the TR-808 and 909. It’s raw voltage and groove, coiling like a serpent in the circuitry. Then, something ancient cuts through: hand-played darbukas, rattling shakers, primal percussion that doesn’t just hit—it summons. Suddenly, this isn’t just music. It’s ritual.

Dubtech? Maybe. But it’s evolved. Mirage doesn’t care for your labels—he’s crafting a new dialect of rhythm and machine. The deeper you go, the more it bends. Mirage threads in ghostly NASA recordings from the Space Race era—scraps of static-drenched wonder whispering through lush pads and time-bending echoes. You’re adrift now, floating somewhere between cosmic memory and tribal dreamscape.

Then the orbit destabilizes: you crash-land in a humid sonic jungle, where twisted roots of bass and flickering synth vines tangle around polyrhythmic heartbeats. It’s earthy, urgent, sacred. And still, the pulse continues—sometimes dragging you downward, sometimes launching you into celestial chaos, but always with precision. A beautiful disorder. Every clash of sound a calculated strike, every silence a breath of meaning.

A Change in Paradigm is exactly that: not just a release, but a rupture. A recalibration of what music can be when boundaries dissolve and instinct takes the wheel. Mirage isn’t here to entertain. He’s here to transform.

And by the time it’s over, you’re not the same listener who pressed play.
