3 Dice Ceno, originally born Washington, D.C. and raised in Miami and South Broward, Florida, now resides in Maryland outside of Baltimore; while his name reflects the intricate wordplay and layered storytelling that defines his music. 
The "3" represents "understanding" in Islamic mathematics, while "Dice" is an acronym for "Dangerously Imbalanced Cording to his or her Environment," highlighting the harm of stereotyping and discrimination. This concept is explored on 3 Dice Ceno’s album The NOVEL: Book 1: The Hydrophonix, particularly the track “American Evil” 
"My style shows complexity in wordplay only to explain how words can carry more than one meaning depending on how they are used on boom bap beats.” Dice shared with the now-defunct Locked Magazine in 2019. 
Ceno's Hip Hop defies categorization, seamlessly shifting styles within tracks. His honest lyrics delve into cultural identity, urban life and finding joy while reflecting his diverse experiences.
"He sets the stage with an ethereal beat laced with virtual madman flows that any gamer would love. [In the second verse, he] switches on his Professor Jekyll & [Mr.] Hyde with tongue twister wordplay. It’s a dope 1x1 take on the music industry in a game-like setting.” UBO MAG (2023) described his style.
Since 2023, Ceno has released four projects: the mental health album Turning Numb Around: Brilliant Minds Understood By Nobody (2022), featuring 15 singles including “Pain” and “The Vent”; the EP The Art of Raw Format (2023), produced by DJ Hell RZA (London, UK), featuring the track “Raw Format,” a freestyle over Alicia Keys’ “Unbreakable” that also serves as the video for “Crowning Touch” and the single “Priest Of Rage” (2024), produced by Villians Productions. The Novel, Book I: Hydrobonix is slated for release in 2025.
Turning Numb Around (2022) explores mental health. “Pain,” co-produced by Ceno and Aaron Gallon (AKA Baby Rebel) (New Orleans), samples the 1972 The Dramatic’s song “In The Rain” and addresses depression and anxiety. It was co-written by Ceno and Baby Rebel and distributed by Symphonic Distribution. “The Vent” (January 2023) portrays life in New Orleans, exploring the cyclical nature of economic hardship and its connection to Hurricane Katrina and the legacy of slavery. It was co-written by Ceno and Baby Rebel and produced by Cash2Secret (French-based Hip Hop producer and emcee).
Ceno's hip-hop blends classic cadence with a modern edge, offering an alternative to mainstream trends. Despite challenges with live performance, he recognizes its therapeutic value and remains open to online opportunities. 
"The thing that makes me go out there [to perform] is the music. People tell me they enjoy my music.” He addresses mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD, in Turning Numb Around, creating relatable music for his listeners.” Ceno explains.
Ceno has performed with artists such as Keith Murray, China Mac, and Christopher Reeves at the “I Am Freestyle” concert in the Bronx; Erin Stevenson, JT Campos (“Queen of the South”), and Born Davinci (Cappadonna's artist) at a BET Awards show event in Los Angeles and opened for Cory Gunz in Washington, D.C. He has also performed at a private event for Birdman. His live performances are immersive storytelling experiences, captivating audiences with his energy, intricate flows, punchlines and compelling beats.
