A landscape opens up, revealing a pastoral scene. The hero comes into the picture (0:35) as he approaches his hometown, located beneath the tree of life. He dismounts (0:58) and is greeted by his family (1:03).

The Hero Returns

My submission to the Bleeding Fingers Contest features the Solo Voice and Perc stems from Destiny's Door composed by Mr. Zimmer. I implemented some Norwegian folk music elements and also used some daring yet beautiful harmonic progressions throughout the track. Enjoy! :)

Welcome To Valhalla - Bleeding Fingers Contest

Inspired by all those survival games out there I decided to create an eerie soundscape with rather minimalist, melodic phrases yet also portraying some hope, through chord movements in the string and brass sections.
The track was composed back in 2013 and I finally came to uploading it.
