Everywhere set to release new single “Man Up” on June 9

UK band Everywhere have announced their first 2017 offering in the form of new single "Man Up", currently available for streaming on Soundcloud. The official release to all digital stores including Spotify will happen on June 9.

Dressed up in an electro-pop suit, the new single sports funky basslines, analog synths, and last but not least, a feature by Swedish singer/songwriter Rebecca Nohr.

Beyond its casual first impression, the song dives into themes about unfulfilled expectations, dominant partners, and the pain stalking strives to live up to an old-fashioned idea of what it means to be a man. "We're currently working on an album, it's still early but hopefully it should be out this fall" -says the band.

At the end of last year, Everywhere released their critically praised sophomore EP "Fiction Act". The EP single "Some Other Dude" was featured on BBC Introducing in London and has received over a million streams on Spotify.
They made their first International appearance at the 2013 NME Awards in the UK, playing alongside Django Django and Palma Violets, and later went on to support the Kaiser Chiefs and headline Notting Hill Arts Club in London.

Respected producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Elderbrook is set to round off the summer with his biggest body of original work to date; the 7 track ‘Talking’ EP, due for release on the 1st September on Kobalt. 

The deluxe EP is a culmination of the many styles that have influenced Alexander Kotz over the course of his career. Moving through various moods and subgenres, it still contains his inimitable vocals and overarching sense of feeling that have come to characterise the Elderbrook sound. 

The first single to come from the full-length production, ‘Woman’, is here! The laid back pace is matched with pitched-down chopped vocals, contrasting with the wistful lyrics. It’s produced by Craven J, but exemplifies Kotz’s unique approach to being a singer and a producer; “phonetics are as important as lyrics. My voice adds another percussive element to the sounds.”
