Derek’s music has always been a way to process his own personal battles with PTSD and anxiety. He started out as an introspective punk but moved onto more traditional rock ‘n’ roll after being inspired by blues artists like Johnny Cash and Ray Charles. He moved to Norway for love, and the country inspired Derek’s music and lyrics with an acoustic sound influenced by blues & rockabilly that won him gigs at bars and festivals across Norway. Derek writes about his battle with PTSD and panic attacks that would not let go of him for too many years. Finally, this broken man sought the support he needed to find himself again, and his love for blues & roots music helped carry him through. This struggle has fanned the flames of his latest, fifth solo album ‘The Love.’ Influenced by blues, rockabilly roots and traditional country music with an emphasis placed upon those genres and how they are all mixed together seamlessly throughout ‘The Love.’ Derek’s howling vocals and finger-picked songs of love, loss and hope will inspire your heart and make you tap your feet to his original roots-rock songs.

By 21 his singer songwriter efforts saw Triple J Rotation, an AMRAP grant and an international reputation through his band 'the Vaudevillains'. Whyte's guitar arrangements have earnt him respect from international artists, famous guitar collectors and have been featured in weddings, tv shows and soundtracks all over the world. Whyte has also been approached and endorsed by two guitar manufacturers, but has always returned to his beloved Gretsch guitars, not caring for the incentives offered. Whyte has recorded on over 10 albums, including 5 of his own inlcuding the soon to be released debut jazz and instrumental album.

The Adrian Whyte Trio have taken over the local bar 'Barton Fink' after a trial gig blew audiences away, inspiring the push to get out of town for festivals and larger stages in 2017. Stay tuned!

Damon is an award-winning composer, lyricist, 
music producer, writer, instrumentalist, filmmaker
and performer from Perth, now living in Melbourne.

As a musician, he has performed at countless 
theatres across Australia, written jingles, songs and 
composed ballet and has released several original 
albums. Appearing as a session piano player on 
numerous recordings he has also had music 
featured on television, stage and in short films. 
Working as a producer, he has also recorded several 
albums for local artists. Writing and creating across 
different art-forms and genres, Damon creates with 
the frequency of the tides with his work is often wry 
and thought-provoking, with loads of comedic 
absurdity and buffoonery thrown in.

As a hobby filmmaker, In 2021, Damon debuted 
his film, Mental As Everything after being selected
 for screening at cinema Nova as part of the the 
Melbourne Documentary Film Festival.

Smith is a virtuosic piano player who can seamlessly flow between musical styles and currently performs in three of his own hugely contrasting stage shows that have all amassed 4 and a half and 5-star reviews.

In his show, Mental As Everything, Smith provides a funny, raw and thought-provoking cabaret that explores the multifaceted nature of mental illness through hilarious original songs and onstage buffoonery. Smith shares his deeply personal experience of living with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and bipolar disorder in a show that fathoms the highs and lows of living with a mental illness.

Smith is also co-writer/performer/producer, for Sun Rising - The Songs That Made Memphis, a world class, highly acclaimed stage show about the music of Sun Records and also created, CRAZY ARMS – A Few Centuries of Piano Tinkering, a preposterously zany, musical adventure that spans the origins of the piano from its birth in 1709 through to the 20th century.

Damon also produces and films the popular YouTube video performance series, ‘The Night Sky Is A Jewellery Store Window’ and has made over 50 videos (and counting) that feature local and international singer-songwriters including, Barney Mcall, Iiz Stringer, Ruby Boots, James Kenyon, Anna Cordell and more.

Maniacal.  Brilliant.  Belligerent.  Legendary.  Comprehensively in your face.  Like a Muppet with a real bad attitude.  These are just some of the words used to describe the utterly intoxicating Juke Baritone as he's been travelling the world with his rascally troupe of manic noise-makers, assaulting audiences with his tall tales of bad love, good times and the evils of the world.  Accordions wail.    Horns scream.  Guitars screech.  And the room goes wild as they dance and chant along to this uniquely Australian sounding psycholonial stomp.  It's certifiably, incurably insane and it sounds bloody marvellous.
