Outside The Drop was an idea that came from a birthday party in the woods. The idea was to provide an outlet of media that was beyond the ordinary. To look past the break downs and "sick drops", we prefer high energy dance music for every occasion. Originally we started with a strong emphasis on hard dance. Since then we've opened up to a plethora of dance and rave music. In the future we plan on teaching our residents how to produce so we can begin to put out our own music. Omega aka Jason Koplin is a United States Marine Corps Veteran who served in Iraq. Soon after he served his country he found the EDM scene in the San Francisco bay area and was immediately at home. He began promoting events ranging from 50 to 3,000 people and founded The Omega Nation. As Jason promoted his own events he found the love of djing. Quickly gaining respect from all the top promoters in the San Francisco Bay Area he found his true passion. What started out as a fun hobby has quickly turned into a love and With each set he plays he connects on the deepest emotional level with every person in the crowd. The love and depth of his connection with his music is undeniable. This is without a doubt his calling and it has only just begun.
