ADROIT is a melodic rock band emerging from Shillong.
The Band was formed way back in 2000 with Dondor-Guitarist,Anthony-Vocals,Wallam-Bassist & Mang-Drums. ADROIT started off as a cover band, covering songs of famous Rock Legends like Helloween, Mr. Big, Rainbow, Fire House, White Lion, Deep Purple, Great White, TNT, Skid Row, Riot, Mass, Roxus , Guns N Roses, to name a few. ADROIT apparently had a tough journey, but life is not a bed of roses and we believed in ourselves and never called it quits. With sheer hard work, patience, determination and a passion for hanging on to what we are and like music. The band soon came up with our 1st debut album, “The Adroit”.
After four years in the making, the enthusiasm in doing another record label has been another triumph we would relish. The band released the 2nd album “Forever Rock” recently on 7th July 2012.
To be concise about our 2nd album “Forever Rock”, the concept of the album is basically about the essence of the band. Our latest single “Forever Rock” has a punch of melodic rock with a blend of melodic power metal. As an introductory note mentioned earlier, the band has always had a kind of a trip down memory lane reviving classic rock n roll. Rock n Roll will never die and legends are indeed immortal icons.
