Ambient Light

Jan Gjersvold, Born in 1980. Living in Norway / Trondheim.


Ambient Light is an experimental project dedicated to the creation of dark and light ambient and electroacoustic soundscapes. Working entirely by ear, Ambient Light composes music that emerges from intuition, atmosphere, and pure vibration. Rather than following strict structures, the sound grows organically—built on layers of resonant textures, evolving drones, and tactile frequencies that blur the line between comfort and unease.

The project seeks to create spaces where listeners can immerse themselves in sonic atmospheres—moments that are both meditative and disquieting, evoking natural landscapes, inner reflections, and shifting emotional states. Each performance becomes a unique exploration of presence and perception, balancing subtle detail with expansive depth.




Ambient Light use an Imac with Logic pro x, Komplete Kontrol S88, Omnisphere Creative, Omnisphere, Omnisphere Keyscape, Alchemy,Vocalise,Komplete Full 5, Valhalla Shimmer plus a whole lot more good tool to create my music.
