"Terra di Linda" evokes the nostalgia of leaving home and the anticipation of returning. Stuck in the constant ebb and flow of transit from one place to another, the listener never reaches his or her desired destination, but is left with the evolving emotions that arise in transit. The introduction incorporates soundscapes recorded while waiting to board a plane from Midway Airport (Chicago) departing for San Francisco - a trip I became all too familiar with during the five years I spent living in Chicago.

It is in those restless moments that one discovers a new hope from an inspiration that could only come alive in the mind and soul.

Recorded in February 2015 Logic Pro 8, musical typing and the Space Designer Convolution Reverb tool.
Part I employs the sample of an old air raid siren posing as a convolution reverb in the Space Designer tool. Part II uses the same technique, this time with a sample of an acoustic guitar riff that has been processed with delay effects.
