An emblematic artist of the Palestinian underground scene, SAMA’ is one of the first DJs and electronic music producers to emerge from the region. Her sound, an original punchy kind of techno, is dry and musical all at once and has quickly made its way across Europe and beyond.
 
SAMA, meaning ‘sky’ in Arabic, started mixing in 2006 in parties around Ramallah, Palestine. Several years later she started producing her own music and expanding her interest in synthesis in 2010, with a focus on techno, house, and other deeper sub-genres of electronic music.
 
The artist graduated from the United Kingdom with a BSc in Audio Engineering and Music Production, then moved to Cairo where she worked as a sound designer for film, became a music producer and then instructor. SAMA’ now runs her own Audio Engineering & Sound Design company working across films and documentaries in the Middle East. In 2017, she was selected as a Laureate by the French Institute, and during that time attended a residency at the International City of Arts in Paris. SAMA’ also runs a publishing company called Awyav, representing independent artists from the Arab world.
 
In late 2018, SAMA’s Boiler Room performance and the associated documentary about the scene in Palestine went viral and more and more people are seeing that music has no boundaries. SAMA’ was recently listed in SheSaid.So’s Alternative Power 100 List, and plays a high-profile set at Ibiza’s World Heritage Site of Dalt Vila for the International Music Summit in late May. She is currently working on a studio album.

Since beginning his music career in 2002 and debuting on Monoid Recordings, Toru Ikemoto has been recognized as a prominent producer/DJ in the global techno scene.
Releasing on renowned international labels such as SYXT, WSNWG, SUARA, BCCO, Room Trax, NECHTO, and QUARTZREC, his tracks—played by top artists including Richie Hawtin, Rødhåd, MARRØN, Joseph Capriati, and Hito—have earned high acclaim on dance floors at clubs and festivals worldwide.

In 2021, he founded his own label, Chimera Recordings, followed by the co-founding of Aum Recordings in 2022. His releases, including EPs featuring remixes by globally recognized artists, have received critical praise across the industry.

Alongside his work as an artist, Toru has over 15 years of experience teaching DJing and music production, and is one of the few Ableton Certified Trainers in Japan. He is also the founder of the DJ/DTM school yell0w, where he is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists.

In this Gumroad Masterclass, Toru shares the expertise honed through years of production and international releases. From creating complete tracks from scratch using only Ableton Live, to professional-level mixing and mastering techniques used in real-world settings, this course is designed to take your music production skills to the next level.

アーティスト活動に加え、DJ・楽曲制作の講師として15年以上のキャリアを持ち、日本では数少ないAbleton Certified Trainerとしても活躍。また自身が運営するDJ・DTMスクール「yell0w」にて次世代アーティストの育成にも力を注ぐ。

The importance of an elegant, clean but, at the same time, forceful sound defines the tracks created meticulously to be able to play on stage with a techno that does not stop.
Focused on hypnotic techno both in his way of producing and in his way of mixing live with his hybrid set up giving a very personal touch to each beat.

Born near Paris, France, Zba moved to the caribbean island of Guadeloupe (French West ‌Indies) in the nineties. He's been living there since then.

Began deejaying in 1993 under the name of "Dj Zbeu", playing underground rave music and psytrance ( back in the days when it was still called "Goa Trance"). He got the opportunity to play on beach parties with the greatest artists of the time. A few years later he evolved towards several other genres including minimal techno, tech-house, dub...

Producer and live performer since the 2020 lockdown. His musical tastes were crafted by all the music he loved mixing for almost 30 years and all the great moments spent in outdoor & beach parties. 

His partner in life is a deejay too and a great source of inspiration !

The Panic Room is the Fanzine records co-owner Pablo Cubeiro.

The Panic Room is featured in some hi profile houses and buildings, it is  the place where you hide when being attacked, a small isolated chamber with the basics you need to survive while you get help. 

It can also be a place that you use not just in emergency cases but to isolate yourself from the rest of the world, to concentrate, to create to not be disturbed.

This Panic Room get a musical sense when you want to be apart from trendiness, to be apart from charts and from what everybody else does. A place to be unique and pure a place where good music is the only entrance ticket.

All the true origins of music are documented in the survival kit in this room from Funk to Soul  from disco to house from Techno to Ambient.

The Panic Room is mobile, you can install it on your dj booth and enjoy the pleasure of having a selector out of the ordinary. Selection, technique and background.
