Solarwind's ambition has always been to stimulate the imagination of her audience, to involve all senses in the artistic experience and - ultimately - lead her listeners into another world. she wants to create a cosmos where everyone can dream freely, collectiviely and feel the wonderful magic of life. in her art, she tries to connect herself to the depth of the soul and the universe in order to make the interconnectedness of all things graspable to her audience. with every piece she brings into being, she aims to invert the refracting influences of the outside world into an impression of loving kindness.
Solarwind´s homebase is in the green suburbs of Vienna. being close to a magnet of art history, while living in a natural surrounding of rivers, lakes and forests goes along with her inner desire to connect, reflect, affect and dissect. she has been in love with music as long as she can remember. the tones of instruments, voices and nature are an essential part of her life. from early days on, she has played the guitar and sung as a vocalist in several bands. later she dived deeper and deeper into the art of weaving and mixing electronic music. waves and sounds are a fantastic medium that gives her the opportunity to tell the manifold stories that reflect her soul. she enjoys the freedom to express herself in different musical styles, always driven my her emotional and spiritual forces.
the synergy of different art forms is at the core of Solarwind's artistic endeavours. she has been combining, mixing and internalizing music, with painting, photography and sculpting in order to create a sensual, haptic and visual experience. as an expression of her love for the ecstatic meeting of souls, Solarwind has been creating various art-objects and room concepts for events.
