The music for this track came together as a spontaneous flow of emotion—jamming and improvising, with a last-minute piano addition in the chorus (and the Outro) to shift the mood.
The lyrics crystallized during a dark period marked by overwhelming emptiness and relentless despair.
While Undying captures the struggle to find oneself, In Bottomless Descent portrays the harrowing experience of losing that grip—falling endlessly into an abyss of anger, silence, and existential dread.
