LARIZA, the Cologne-based quintet, combines jazz and pop as well as electronic and experimental sounds into a captivating new entity that they call Future Jazz.

Die Hamburger Band ÂENN spielt – mit Sounds, mit Worten, mit Erwartungen, mit der Vergangenheit und dem Blick in die Zukunft. Die Songs spiegeln das weite musikalische Feld wieder, in dem sich das Hamburger Quintett um Songwriterin Annike Heikes bewegt. Hier treffen jazzige Chords auf soulige Vocals, sphärische Klanglandschaften auf tiefen treibenden Bass, Oldschool Vibes auf Neo-Soul, Eingängige Hooklines auf komplexe Soundmalerei. Der Beat lädt mit funkigen Vibes zum Tanzen ein – laut, wild, eigenwillig. An anderer Stelle taucht man in schwebende Synthiesounds und nebelige Atmosphären ein, die sich zart, fragil, in bittersüßer Schwere zeigen. Die Texte erzählen vom Wandel, vom Suchen und Streben, vom Verstehen Wollen und doch nicht verstehen, vom Fragen und Hinterfragen. Mal süß, mal bitter. Mal laut, mal leise. Hido Selim is a composer, saxophonist, and producer creating organic electronic music deeply rooted in jazz tradition and shaped by his background in Istanbul. Influenced by modal jazz greats like John Coltrane, Selim brings improvisational spirit into ambient and house-oriented productions, weaving field recordings, nature-inspired textures, and warm grooves. He performs live across Europe, both solo and with jazz ensembles, offering sets that merge analog sensitivity with electronic depth.
