With measured urgency, Praise builds from a single note and a careful kick, growing to cumulonimbus heights. Shreds of prophetic lyrics echo and flash, stoking anticipation, breaking into dazzled trance-like moments. A track like a long, soaring flight, it is focused and attentive, thick with controlled electricity. Semara’s voice is a counterpoint of calm strength.

This is the 2nd in the series of songs following "Engram", this will probably end up turning into an album (small album).
I've been having a lot of fun with this kind of style, sometimes I'll just get lost and just end up vibing to it on repeat rather than continuing to produce it HAHA!
I hope I can invoke the same "Lost in the music" feeling in you as I instil in myself whilst listening.

The Montreal producer raised on 808s and RPGs takes his sound to weird new heights on the Kronostasis EP (out 10/23), picking up where last years auspicious debut Palindroma (“Sounds like anime looks” – Noisey) left off. “Okarina Of Time” and “Saccade Two” bookend the EP with double doses of 64-bit turn up, while “Saccade One” and “Gold” (featuring Chicago rising star Mick Jenkins) bring out a heady, jazzy side to HK that we’ve never heard before. Yet nowhere is High Klassified’s singular swag more evident than “Time In Vain,” and its creepy, cheeky must-see video. With ‘Analog Junkies’ we welcome Canadian duo Beyond Physical to ICONYC with their latest two track masterpiece. Beyond Physical who have been causing quite a stir with their melodic techno / progressive house influenced productions make their debut with 2 stunning original tracks. Passionate about their métier and adept in a variety of genres, ambience is an integral component in the duo's production sound as techno, deep and progressive house are closely tied to sensations ranging across the spectrum from melancholy to delight. Now interchanging these differing moods into audile form.

Their latest outing shows maturity and musical development, as we kick off proceedings with ‘Dark Angel’, a collaboration with Veytik. The track opens with all the right notes, as the expressive, progressive house influenced track grabs you from the word go, interspersing with roomy glowing vibes and filtered stabs, driving leads culminating into an energetic drop to round off this brilliant underground crowd pleaser, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Beyond Physical & Veytik manage to keep the energy up, subtlety allowing the driving feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape.

To close out the duo's debut EP we have the deep, hypnotic title track ‘Analog Junkies’, which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound deep-tech groove and indie influence, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. In short, this EP is everything we have come to expect from Beyond Physical and a wonderful way to start their affiliation with ICONYC, as they once more show their sound remains as fresh, super-charged and relevant as it ever was.
