Team AEON is thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the Lost Tapes series where music of family members and newbies come together in one release.
The compilation will be released in 2 parts. As a subscriber and family member, you’ll get the full VA compilation including all 13 tracks in advance, exclusively!

Part 1:
We kick off the first part with a special: Italian artist Fabrizio Mammarella (one half of Black Spuma - with Lauer), who’s also well known for his skills as a remixer, releases his first solo track „Compumemory“ on AEON.
The young gun from Italy Amarcord is a true AEON family member now. His previous contributions are followed up with a punchy weapon called, „Momentum“.
We are also happy to welcome back our mysterious producer Futuristant with a nostalgic track in style and meaning „Before I miss you“. And Omri Smader with his hypnotic Italo club track „Seger Peger“, who’s latest releases on Blue Shadow & Correspondant caught a lot of attention.
These two are followed by contributions from two debutants. Berlin’s Parla (‘Permanent Vacation’), who’s bringing the early morning/afterhour burner „A World in Purple“ and Felkon from Germany with the clubby Italo shaker „Lytis“.
Last but not least, Silicodisco returns to AEON with a collaboration with DPAZ and created the retro, melodic, dark Italo dance track „Hellish Night“. A track that characterizes the both of them and the perfect track to welcome you to the second part of the Lost Tapes Vol. 5.

Part 2:
Following up on his successfull releases on Gerd Janson’s ‘Running Back’ and his latest EP on DJ Tennis’s label ‘Life & Death’, Alan Dixon kicks off part two with „Space Manoeuvres“.
AEON newbie Alex Virgo brings the Spring vibes with the happy track „Clown Car“.
After Machinegewehr’s well received „Nutant EP“ (AEON054), the Rotterdammer returns with another trippy Italo monster „Call the shots“.
Having already done a remix for „Serpentine“ by Darlyn Vlys, Micropacer is not new to the camp anymore. And we are happy to have him on board with his first solo track „The Magic Number“ on AEON.
Musumeci doesn’t need an introduction anymore. The Italian made his way in the industry with several hit remixes and solo productions on his own imprint „Multinotes“ (with Lehar) or „Permanent Vacation“, after being one of the first remixers on AEON almost a decade ago. His collaboration with Aldebaran on „Escamotage“ will stay in your ears for a while.
Hailing from Jakarta the 4th newbie Past Futura closes this 13 tracker VA with his „Viva La Discoteque“, which we couldn’t think of a better closing title in these difficult times.

Bonkers (@bonkersrecs) calling their third year as a record label, for the celebration is going to be released a very special six track compilation, for the first time on Vinyl 12”, bringing lots of new astounding artists to the label and also a very different sound to what you might have heard two years back. The music is evolving all the time, so the sound of the label has to evolve too.

 This six track album represents the actual sound of the record label, featuring: Undefined Pattern, Ducati Flux, Ludviq & Technicism, Ricardo Ruben, Hanzo & Yaman and 9 POUND HAMMER.

Ducati Flux (@ducatiflux)AKA Max Ferrer is a Chilean multi instrumentalist, producer, mixing engineer and DJ based in Berlin. Half of the duo Random Atlas and founder of the label ODD Pleasures. From an early age, he has searched in music and sound design for a collision between rock and electronic music, playing in several bands, producing for different projects and soundtrack for movies. He has released his music on labels such as Ombra INTL, Hard Fist, Dogs & Vultures, Belly Dance Services, just to name a few.

Ducati flux's delivers a trippy 100BPM tune 'Inertia', the track explores diverse styles and techniques, driven by a powerful bassline and massive beats evolving around ethereal and melodic synths all the way to the climax where the electric guitars take over creating catchy and intense melodies.

Before his rise to prominence, the prolific Mauritian born artist Menwar was briefly known as Lélou where he recorded his first songs on two 45rpms pressed in Madagascar under the label of 'Green Turtle’. Now re-issued under Babani Records, the EP has been carefully remastered and digitised restoring the original 1977 sonics enduring elemental decay over the years. After several months of restoration work with our engineer, Neil Combstock and Menwar the closest version to the original tapes was restored.

The first track, Ça la vie la is a depiction of the hardships of life in Mauritian suburbs during the late 70s.

Pop l'economie is an ironical take on society in a period where a thriving economy contrasted the challenging situation of the working class on the island

Stephano Honoré, started his career under the artist name Lelou which originated from his chilhood nickname Ti Zoulou (affectionately given by his mother in 1980) Now known as Menwar, his great musical prowess earned him a prestigious position in the history of Mauritian music.

LDI Records serves up a celebration of The Hague's famous electro sound with native Cliff Dalton aka Sander Evers behind four originals and fellow West Coast legends Legowelt and Rude66 both remixing.

Cliff Dalton is a relatively new project from a long-time Dutch music great. Sander Evers is the drummer in psychedelic stoner rock band Monomyth and has played with other notable groups including 35007 and Gomer Pyle. Next to those projects, he has always had his ear tuned into the region's enduring electro scene and now offers up his own fresh take on it. The EP's title refers to the fact that all these artists are bound by geography but is also a nod to the fact that The Hague is the largest Dutch city by the sea.

The opener 'We Are The Little Ones' is about an evil robot factory in a futuristic dystopian city. It is a coruscated electro-funk workout with crisp analogue drums and nimble bass overlaid with withering sci-fi melodies. 'We Don't Need A Real World' is a superbly cinematic eight-minute excursion with widescreen synth work taking you to the stars as you ride an elastic bassline. The majestic 'City Under The Sea' then layers up neck-snapping snares with cosmic arps and plunging bass and 'Cleopatra's Matrix' soundtracks an ancient Egyptian city with its mystic leads and eerie pads luring you into a late-night electro trance.

West Coast pin-up and hugely prolific electronic innovator Legowelt remixes 'We Are The Little Ones'. His version has plenty of his textbook intrigue, lo-fi texture and magical synth charm, and finally key Bunker Records associate Rude 66 flips 'City Under The Sea' into a snaking dub rhythm with hypnotic acid lines and seductive vocal whispers woven in deep.

The Blue City EP is a timeless package of West Coast electro direct from the source.

Kutkh Jackdaw releases a previously unavailable track from the archives, with proceeds going to humanitarian aid in Ukraine. 'Innocents' was produced in 2015, and is an intriguing combination of industrial and post-punk, with dubstep and bass music influences.

Kutkh Jackdaw is a Scottish producer and DJ, now based in Brighton, whose productions and mixes take influence from a wide variety of different genres, from post-punk and EBM, to synth, industrial and techno. He uses a range of techniques including a heavy use of inventive sampling, combined with extensive use of vintage 80’s hardware. His debut release, the 'Sweat & Thunder EP' was released on Dark Disco, and he has also had tracks released on Lunacy, Sonidos Subterraneos, and Of Dolls & Murder.
