"Inside the Poison" by Fluxsense is an exuberant excursion into the inner catacombs of psychill music, sticking to its 4/4 beat architecture like glue as it wrestles with the listener for supremacy, all the while allowing intoxicating and ethereal soundscapes to attempt to lull them off course. The EP lays bare Fluxsense's adept knack at weaving hypnotic rhythms with a rich, atmospheric depth that makes for an immersive experience and feels at once insular and wide-reaching.

From the opening of the track, it is clear "Inside the Poison" is designed to transport the listener through a kind of landscape where time seems to contract and stretch again, held down by the steady beat and sometimes intricate lush textures. Everything in its making is of top quality, carefully positioned in order that every aspect of all the sensories in the audience's being is absolutely riveting without boundary.

Adept at blending organic sounds with the finesse of electronics into their music in such a way that it appears teeming with life, it is Fluxsense. Throughout the EP, there is a moving theme of darkness against light, imprisonment against freedom. It explores musically with an equal measure of depth emotionally.

It's this kind of dynamic range that assures "Inside the Poison" really never turns monotonous, more an engaging exploration of the spectrum of human experiences mirrored through sound.

It is in standout tracks, though, where the deep driving bassline is counterbalanced by airy, celestial synths in a contrast that somehow both grounds and uplifts. Add to that subtle vocal samples, even traditional instruments twisted through electronics, and it’s music with layers both complex and rich. More than sound per se, "Inside the Poison" throws the listener into an odyssey full of reflection and self-discovery. In that aspect, the maestro makes sure to pull it off with the essence of the genre Psychill at heart and yet pushes it into a more progressive kind of feel, keeping things fresh with every material. It's great for the initiated and equally ideal for the dabbler looking to make their first foray into the immersive world of psychill, this EP proves a very inviting opportunity to delve into the depths of one's psyche, pulsing to the steady, reassuring beat of 4/4.

Meet Entrancing Bloom by Tetarise on Microcosmos Records.

The producer of Tetarise is Eugenii Dolgikh from Kursk, Russia. He has been composing electronic music in trance, progressive, chillout, psybient since 2003. Tetarise project has become well-loved among fans of psychedelic music. In 2013 it took part in A State of Mind, a popular trance music radio show. Tetarise became a resident of Microscosmos Records in 2018 and has released several successful albums and EPs.

Entrancing Bloom is a metaphoric story of a bud making its way from the ground to the Sun. The author conceptualizes the basics of sound design creatively by making brand new synth sounds on his own with a modular synthesizer. He uses his recorded samples of live percussions and guitar melodies which creates the very lively sound of the album tracks. The genres of the music are ranged from ambient, trip-hop to progressive chill, progressive trance.

Mervyn Owen van de Kleut, born on 30-12-1989 in Heerlen, the Netherlands, creates music under the name Aeon Cosmowyn. For him, music has always been more than sound—it’s how he processes emotion, reflects on life, and connects with the world.

Living with autism, music became his most natural form of expression. Each track he writes is a moment captured: a feeling, a shift, a personal insight. What began as a private outlet grew into something he could share—and others could feel.

He released his first album Cosmic Insights in 2014, and has since developed a sound blending ambient, psychedelic, and emotional elements—rooted in introspection, shaped by storytelling.

Through Aeon Cosmowyn, Mervyn continues to explore the space between thought and emotion, turning lived experience into sound.
