Mountain Lake is a 3-tracks EP, including a bonus track, an ambient cut version taken from the first 15 minutes long track that is the heart of this release.

All tracks are a mix of progressive down-tempo with atmospheric and ambient sounds, oriental and uplifting trance melodies, leading instruments such as guitar, piano, flute & sitar, followed by percussion and cinematic waves, including vocal sequences. 

Inspired and infused with classical music as my leading guide to everything and passion for trance music, I bring you this EP written from the bottom of my heart! I hope you like it 🎶

"I feel that I finally managed to turn my emotions, my life and everything that happens around me, life itself, into sound. After a lot of thinking, absorbing energy around me, I decided to make a solo ambient album, and I did it. 🙏
If we go deep enough, we can feel that each song is tied to each other. From meaning to the energy. One poem that represents the spirit of my soul, my life...
For me, this release of mine has a very special meaning, where every song is dedicated to a life spiral, energy and everything that happens around us ... By continuing the formula of the original , history comes full circle and is again composed by two different minds transmitting on the same waves : Axell Astrid and his close friend and a trully music inspiration coming from the lands of Dead Sea - Israel , Mobitex . Working together and in mutual agreement on the VA concept , the two above-mentioned visionaries gathered and combined an super solid story composed of great artists selected by them from different corners of the planet earth . Where each of these different characters has become an equally important puzzle in the magical lunar moon painting created with a heart in the beloved form of sound .
So after a short prologue , we can now only wish you a pleasant reception and reaching an truly astral experiences while listening to this masterpiece . Together, the name “Aeon Cosmowyn” reflects timelessness, inner strength, and a deep connection to the cosmos—fitting for an artist whose music is both personal and expansive.

Mervyn Owen van de Kleut, born on 30-12-1989 in Heerlen, the Netherlands, creates music under the name Aeon Cosmowyn. For him, music has always been more than sound—it’s how he processes emotion, reflects on life, and connects with the world.

Living with autism, music became his most natural form of expression. Each track he writes is a moment captured: a feeling, a shift, a personal insight. What began as a private outlet grew into something he could share—and others could feel.

He released his first album Cosmic Insights in 2014, and has since developed a sound blending ambient, psychedelic, and emotional elements—rooted in introspection, shaped by storytelling.

Through Aeon Cosmowyn, Mervyn continues to explore the space between thought and emotion, turning lived experience into sound.
