A Story Unfolds

Helios is an epic, dramatic track which makes use of both heavy orchestrations and synthesizers. It tells the story of an explorer, the ups and downs of his journeys, the dangers and amazing discoveries. As you may notice, the track returns to its beginning at the very end, which indicates that the whole story may repeat over and over again, as the desire of the protagonist to explore new wonders might never end.

In December 2015 one of my life dreams came true: During the first Hollywood Scoring Open Orchestra Session, I was able to record my music with the fabulous Local 47 studio musicians at the Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage in L.A.
This was one of the most intimidating and most exciting moments in my life. Luckily it was captured on this beautiful video. Please enjoy!

This track was used as an intro track for the album Codex Atlanticus by Serenity. Feat. Amanda Somerville (vocals) and Simon Huber (Cello).

Codex Atlanticus

An emotional composition recorded with a 36 piece orchestra at The Bridge Recording Studio with some of the best session players in Los Angeles (conducted by maestro Bruce Broughton). 
There are some sampled percussions and Synths added in as well.

I've written, orchestrated and mixed this track as part of the USC Screen Scoring program 2017
