The duo Lauge & Baba Gnohm consists of Henrik Laugesen and Kalle Christensen, both born in 1985 in Denmark. They first met in 2008 in Christiania. After a successful day in the studio, they decided to put their previous solo projects on hold, and team up. Lauge & Baba Gnohm was formed in the late winter of 2008, and that wintery feeling which was present in their first tracks, still leave traces in their more recent soundscapes. Henrik and Kalle are heavily inspired by nature, especially the arctic parts of the world. Till now Lauge & Baba Gnohm have had many releases on various labels around the globe, as well as being part of a sync company dealing with soundtracks for movies and documentaries. The very first Lauge & Baba Gnohm collaboration release was The Perfect Stranger which was released on the German record label Blue Tunes Records. Along with releases on different compilations, Lauge & Baba Gnohm have released two EPs: Daybreak, on Soundmute, and Monolith, on Chillbase and the full length album "Langbortistan" on Altar Records.

Lingering fingerprints of a time bygone, hints of a scent once always, a photograph. The dust settles, dancing in the the last rays of sunlight. These days were felt and the smiles and tears we shed are now or the past. The letters we wrote remain, the pictures fade as the world beyond the lens morphs into its ever changing continuum, leaving us with just our creation; a memory away.
This album is an expression of nostalgia, capturing the bittersweet evocation of reading letters from the past, seeing the photographs, the wrenching effect of smelling the familiar scents of a time long passed and realizing that the world is always changing, and so are you.
Created with many recordings of nature, instruments, non-instruments and processed using a wide variety of techniques including tape, granular synthesis and analog synthesis, Dynastor explores the storytelling quality of music, creating evocations of places, people, memories and their passing.

Bernstein is the vision and music project by Matthias Smith, a young creative mind from Switzerland. Currently living in Berlin, Bernstein aims at luring the audience into his vortex of never-ending colours, spherical streams and atmospheres. His sound palette exceeds the standardized deep house and techno sounds by finding timbres and textures through experimental approaches. Appearing on renowned labels such as Hyalin records, @accentsrecords , @lokdbasel , and @aperturemx . Here some words by Matthias describing this exclusive ambient mix he recorded for us.
"This mixtape is a sonic journey through a nocturnal, dreamlike landscape. I spun a web around the track selection using my own field recordings from India that I made a year ago and also used for my latest album ‘tirtha’ released on @hyalinrecords . I wanted to build oneiric layers of sound, all based on a meditative focal point and hypnotic pulsations"

Limerence I

A track that was initially going nowhere (you could argue at over eight minutes long with about a single change it still does that...) but kept demanding to be made into something. So I did. Did not end up how I expected, which is part of the joy of this. Into double digits for tracks now, and almost double digits for run time. Maybe one day I'll write a sub-five minute long song again.

Hello dear friends. Today, let's welcome Saphileaum for the 21th episode of the Stellar Series.

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia. The project was influenced by the pulsating local techno scene and strongly inspired by foreign artists like Anthony Linell / Abdulla Rashim, Acronym & Luigi Tozzi. He found his own style in deep and atmospheric techno, intepreting this in a more consciousness-expanding way while combining a variety of ambient and hypnotic soundscapes. Constantly pushing new releases on labels like NORITE, Controlled Violence and Lett Records, Saphileaum has also played alongside techno veterans like In Aeternam Vale and Stanislav Tolkachev in the past.

Here, Saphileaum provides a list of ambient, tribal and rhythmic  hypnotic soundscapes. Dive deep into the realms of esoteric and theosophical forest with the man who "sees people as they are and not as they pretend to be".
